Does Amala have any self-respect? so desperate to have the Mrs Nagarjuna tag?

The Times of India has a cute story that Tabu walked past Nagarjuna without recognizing him :-)

The commenters here are unbelievable. Spreading such vile gossip! I am from andhra, and I know how silly stuff is turned into hot breaking gossip out there. Tabu is a friend of Nag & she is a friend of Amala too. They are close family friends. Just because Tabu isn't married, it absolutely vile to insinuate all sorts of baseless stuff.

1.We women always want to marry "up", ya'know, these actresses with their level of fame and success have very small pool to choose from. Majority of men 35 and older are already taken or come with a lot of baggage of ex-wives,kids,scandals...
2. Indian men are hypocrites who will sleep around but want to marry a 'pure' woman and so on.
3. Very few men can handle playing second fiddle to their famous wives ( watch out Madhuri!) .
4. These heroines have been adored and worshipped as sex-symbols in their prime, i can't imagine how it must feel to settle down into being an unappreciated housewife/socialite/ and watch their fame being shifted onto younger prettier girls.

Amala was having an affair with Rajnikanth during the 80's but was dumped by him as he didnt want to divorce his wife. This is well-known in the tamil industry. Then she became friendly with Nag who was married to Drama naidu's daughter. Someone here said that Nag had custody of his son, this is totally false. Its his first wife Lakshmi who brought up Naga chaitanya in chennai where she moved after divorce and continues to stay there. She was never settled abroad. She and Nag studied abroad, came back and got married. I dont know if it was a forced marriage, but many say that its because of Amala and other heroines that he got involved with after joining film industry, that break-up happened.
Today people know Amala as a kind lady who works for animal welfare but in the 80's her reputation was not so good. She infact did a movie called 'Chinna babu' with Nag which was produced by drama naidu, lakshmi's dad. So i assume she was a homebreaker. Infact she said once that she was friendly with Nag when he was still married.
Tabu is looking gorgeous and very happy, looks like all three have reached some agreement to live happily together.

u know they have come to an agreement that they will share nagarjuna right? these are not rumours AT ALL. in fact, if a rumour comes out in the south indian film industry, there is a VERY HIGH chance that the rumour is true...unlike in bollywood, where absolutely baseless false stories are spread and planted. in the southern industry, if a star denies a rumour, the media pretty much leaves it at that, they don't keep hounding them like the bollywood media.

thats why all these rumours persist. If tabu had married (anyone) then the rumours would die, urmila (though i don't think she has any rumours) etc, (even Rani hasn't married yet, Vidya despite having committed relationships. Its odd, i'm not saying marriage is the only option for them, but it is certainly a valid option)

Like, all these women's friends and family members would be married. Why do they elect to not?

Its nag who has given no option fr amala than to accept tabu.else he wil divorce her and marry tabu.
so poor amala havin no option bearing wth these bth and keeping herself busy wth PETA...animals and all.
Tabu without marriage she is njoin all other luxuries wth him as his permanent keep.

This cheap industry has so many shades which dnt come out....evryone has a great n cheap background beyond.

Peculiar. Oh well. But my first thought was Amala looks this good even now??? I had imagined she'd be looking quite old. She sure has maintained herself very well.

Nag didnt leave his first wife for amala, He was first married to Ramanaidu's daughter and Hero Verkatesh's sister lakshmi, it was touted as biggest family alliance then ...both were forced into this wedding and were unhappy with the wedding , lakshmi even had a boy friend in USA and but things didnt work out and they seperated and nag got their son's custody.Lakshmi is happily married to her boy friend and settled abraod.

As far as Nag he has always been like that but guess all the other women in his life very well knows he will never divorce amala, the guy went great lenghts to get married to her ,none of his family member was present at the wedding except of few close friends , ANR only approved it after there second child was born.

people who comment in this site is way-off the limit. It seems they all come here to comment to get their frustration out. What a society we live in. Perhaps I should stop reading comments and only see the articles. Grow up people. If your neighbor writes a piece about u or your family , you wouldn't know where to hide....

Well, this isn't new. Amala is Nagarjuna's second wife. He left Naga Chaitanya's mom for this woman.

A Has been, and always so boring

its not that simple really. initially Amala was against the affair.. obviously.
but then she saw that Nag was not going to leave Tabu. Amala didnt want to break the marriage for the sake of the kids. so she accepted Tabu in the family as the other woman.
Tabu even used to live with them all the time.
sometimes people make compromises for some reasons.
Instead of blaming only Tabu, blame Nag for being such a weak person.. having 2 women in his life.
