Rahul Bose's second venture as a director titled Poorna: Courage Has No Limit is a testament to women empowerment. It is based on a true story of 16-year-old girl Poorna Malavath who at the tender age of 13 became the youngest girl to climb Mount Everest. Poorna's journey is going to be recalled on screen with Aditi Inamdar portraying the titular role in the movie.

We sat down with Rahul, Aditi and Poorna for an FB Live chat and they spoke candidly about the upcoming movie.

When we asked Rahul on what attracted him to Poorna's story, Rahul revealed, "You will never have heard or seen a story of a 13-year-old girl climbing Mount Everest. It has never been done before. After that, the rules have changed. You have to be over 16 from the Nepal side and over 18 from the China side to climb Everest. Everest is 8850 meters high. It is unbelievable, it's 30, 000 ft. Jet plans fly 30, 000 ft. Let me ask you, what were you doing when you were 13? And now ask yourself what did this girl do when she was 13. It's astonishing. On top of that, she's not from a region where there is mountaineering. It is unimaginable how this girl out of nowhere came to a point where she actually did something that the world will remember forever because it is the world record. This is what it means when she says 'ladkiyan kuch bhi kar sakti hai'."

He went on to speak to all women about how Poorna's message of ladkiyan kuch bhi kar sakti hai should inspire them as well. He said, "It doesn't matter if you are a woman or a girl, it does not matter if you aren't supremely educated, it doesn't matter if you haven't had the best coaching or equipment, all it needs is some physical ability - but your mind and your heart must want to do it. To all the women out there - set yourselves that goal, watch this film and then turn around and say that yes, ladkiyan kuch bhi kar sakti hai."

When we asked Aditi, on why people should watch Poorna, Aditi said, "The story is very inspiring and it is going to move the audience. It's going to change your life completely."

When we quizzed Poorna on what her future plans were, she revealed, "After Everest, I even climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and my life goal is to become an IPS officer."
