EXCLUSIVE: Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj Chauhan biopic to see THIS beauty queen make her Bollywood debut
Manushi Chhillar might have been in news for several Hindi projects. But she has finally decided on her debut and she will romance Akki in her first.
Right after Manushi Chhillar was crowned Miss World around two years ago, speculations were rife that the beauty queen will soon make her foray into Bollywood. A lot of rumours have been doing the rounds about her debut. Some claimed that she would play the lead in Farah Khan's next directorial and there was also buzz about her being cast opposite Ranveer Singh, but none of them are true.
Instead, a source close to the development made an interesting revelation. The informer reveals, "Manushi will be making her big Bollywood debut opposite none other than Akshay Kumar. She has been signed on for the Prithviraj Chauhan biopic that is expected to go on floors sometime towards the later half of this year. Chandraprakash Dwivedi is directing the historical drama and YRF is producing it."
The source adds, "Manushi has shown a lot of promise from the time she became a national craze. She is not only pretty but a great performer, too. She will be essaying Sanyukta's role and will be romantically paired opposite Akshay. Aditya Chopra feels she has a good screen presence and has also got her on board as one of the talents under his banner." 
Manushi, on the other hand, is currently prepping for her grand launch. "She is doing a lot of acting and dance workshops. She has been reading about the time zone in which the period saga is set in. It's an epic love story that will be one of the biggest highlights from the production house in the coming years," our khabri tells us. Guess it's time to welcome a new member into the film fraternity.
