Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saina Nehwal's biopic which is being directed by Amol Gupte has been in the news for all the controversies. Amid that, the movie went on floors recently but the shoot had to be halted midway after Shraddha was diagnosed with dengue and was on full recovery mode. Recently there were reports that the director is apparently unhappy with Shraddha over the second-hand treatment being given to the biopic and the delays. The source said that Shraddha hasn't been able to give dates for the project which has left Gupte upset.
However, a source close to the project laughed off the rumours to PINKVILLA and said, "There is no truth to all these speculations, Amole sir and Shraddha are in the best of terms and continue to share a cordial equation. Such rumours are hilariously baseless." The actress has been training really hard to get into the shoes of Saina, who has been a national sports sensation.
For the uninitiated, ace shuttler Saina Nehwal made history in 2012 after winning a bronze at the London Olympics. Nehwal also bagged the first individual medal for the nation in 36 years in women’s badminton. 
Apart from the biopic, the actor also has Prabhas starrer Sahoo, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chichore, and more in her kitty. Her release this year, Stree, bagged a number of awards this year and has been one of the best performing movies.
