EXCLUSIVE: Anand Kumar supports Super 30 director Vikas Bahl: When people rise, things are blown out
Anand Kumar in an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla revealed he supports Super 30 director Vikas Bahl. Read on to know his full statement.
Mathematician Anand Kumar, whose life is being projected on celluloid by Hrithik Roshan in the film called Super 30, is all praises for the actor. The trailer for the movie which releases in the next 20 days has been receiving mixed reviews from all quarters. While many couldn’t stomach the look and feel of the movie, others couldn’t stop lauding Hrithik for making an impressive attempt. Well, apart from all these, the movie also faced serious hurdles after director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment last year. The internal committee set by the production house has now given Vikas a clean chit thereby absolving him of all charges; however, did the case and the controversy around it bother Anand? “Never did I feel any apprehension,” he said in an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla.
“My father always said that hard work never goes in vain, and hence, I was very optimistic. I have seen all of the cast put in their 100%. Be it the writer or the director or even Hrithik ji. I have seen Vikas Bahl reach out to the kids in villages. He spent a lot of time with everyone on ground level. So, I thought that this man is putting in so much of hard,work in this, and somewhere some power must be watching this man and he will get justice and SEE! He has got clean chit,” Anand added. 
About Vikas, Anand shared that he always thought of Vikas a good person “because once he visited our village, in the interiors where he met a kid who was physically challenged. Vikas met him and spent time with him and when he returned after a month, he got a supporting pad for his legs from London for that child. The fact that he remembered this made me admire him. Hence, I always believed in justice system and knew truth will prevail.” Not just that, Anand stressed that most of the controversy is created and blown out of proportion when a person rises. “We have always seen how things are blown out of proportion many-a-times when people grow in their respective fields,” he emphasized and added, “Attempts were made to malign my reputation too, a court case was lodged against me, my brother was attacked, a innocent was sent to jail. All these things keep happening. It is a part of life and one must consider it natural and accept it.”
