Now that Padmaavat has finally released and is flourishing at the box-office, Deepika Padukone now shifts gear and will be focusing on Vishal Bhardwaj's next. The untitled movie marks the onscreen reunion of Deepika with Irrfan Khan, after Piku.

In an EXCLUSIVE tête-à-tête with Pinkvilla, Deepika got candid about getting to work with Vishal and Irrfan. The actor said,  "I'm going to use this as an opportunity to go back to being a student in so many ways because I feel like I'm going to learn so much from this. Of course, I learn with every film experience, I learn so much. But, I think it will be time for me to really stay very focused and imbibe and learn from Irrfan and from Vishal sir. But it's also going to be a lot of fun. They both have an amazing sense of humour. I don't know if the atmosphere will allow for that but I do know that in our downtime, we'll have a good time as well."

When we quizzed her further on any other Bollywood movies on the horizon, Deepika revealed, "Not at the moment actually, this is just the one film."

Talking more about the movie and how the character has been with her for almost two years like Rani Padmavati from Padmaavat, Deepika revealed, "In fact, I have been living with this character again for almost two years now. It's a film that, Vishal sir had given me the book almost two years ago and he wanted me to read that chapter. I read the whole book and of course, I read that chapter. It stayed with me. I went back to him saying that I was excited to do this film. At that point, he kind of moved on and was doing something else. It changed hands a couple of times, somebody else was meant to direct it and then, I think destiny just had a role to play in it and he's come back."

About working with Irrfan again, Deepika added, "The fact that Irrfan sir and I are going to be working together again, I'm so excited about that. Other than the brilliant actor that he is and all of us know, we see that but, he's also such an amazing human being. It is going to be very special."
