EXCLUSIVE: This is what Ranveer Singh predicted about Surveen Chawla's baby when they bumped into each other
Surveen Chawla in an exclusive interview revealed her sweet rendezvous with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone on the red carpet.
Surveen Chawla, who was last seen in Sacred Games, is now a happy mother to baby Eva. The actress who got married to Akshay Thakker is currently busy embracing motherhood in all its capacity. While speaking exclusively to Surveen, we asked her about her small but infinitely cute red carpet moment at a recent awards show where Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone bumped into her.
Remembering the conversation, Surveen shared, “It was a small moment where I had just seen Gully Boy and loved his performance and the movie, so I was just telling him how wonderful he was. He quipped ‘you loved it matlab rapper paida hoga.’ I told him ‘hoga ya hogi pata nahi’ but it was a small moment.” Well, this conversation is surely all hearts.
Surveen also defied body image myths and notions with her glamorous avatars on the red carpet flaunting her baby bump. When asked if it was a conscious decision, Surveen revealed, “I was clear that I don't want to consciously get conscious of the fact that I am pregnant, and that I must hide the bump and that I must wear loose clothes, and my body will look a certain way. In fact, there was only one thing that I would tell my stylist please don't get me loose fitted clothes, I want to flaunt the bump, let it be as sexy as it has always been. I don't want to suddenly change the way I dress because motherhood is on its way. That was the only thing and also I feel it is one thing which one shouldn't hide behind a piece of fabric and only flaunt.”

Lastly, revealing when will we see her back onscreen, Surveen concluded, “Right now, I have Eva to take care of but you will see me back as soon as Sacred Games 2 gets launched. Till then, my daughter is going to take all my time now and then it is going to be back to the grind.”
