EXCLUSIVE: THIS will mostly be Shahid Kapoor's next film after Kabir Singh
Shahid Kapoor has loved a script. He might be seen next in Nikkhil Advani's production venture, that will be directed by Ranjit Tiwari.
Shahid Kapoor is readying himself for a film that's possibly his most commercial solo project ever. Kabir Singh releases in three days from now and while there have been no announcements from the actor's side about his next, we have exclusive deets on what's being planned.
A source tells us, "Shahid really wanted to kickstart the Dingko Singh biopic but there are some creative issues on the same. They are reworking on the script and once they are both happy, only then will Shahid begin the boxer's biopic." Shahid has also confirmed the same in our interview. But now, we hear that he has green lit another project.
The same source reveals, "Shahid has been in talks with Nikkhil Advani for a film for the last few months. Both Nikkhil and Shahid have been sitting together on meetings and deciding how the script can be bettered. It's again in the drama space and Shahid has really liked the idea. He has already given his verbal nod to the film but is yet to sign on the dotted line. If everything goes well, he will begin Nikkhil's film after Kabir Singh. He also plans to take a small family trip in between." We tried contacting Advani who chose not to respond to our texts. 
The film will be produced by Nikkhil's Emmay Entertainment. "The filmmaker is backing a lot of great scripts today. He's also signed Shahid's co-star Kiara Advani for another production venture- Indoo Ki Jawaani. Now, this untitled movie starring Shahid will be helmed by Lucknow Central director Ranjit Tiwari. Not much is known about the film since the team is carefully keeping the concept under wraps."
