Production of an A-lister female actress in trouble : MoiFightClub Blind item
Joining the league of Rajeev Masand and DNA, we have a new set of interesting blind items posted by MoiFightClub . MoiFightClub is a long time Bollywood blogger. He was one of the jury members of the recently held Ghanta Awards. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The story goes that her come-back vehicle, a cheesy romance film, which she is producing herself, being shot in Europe, with a new model turned actor for the hero, has been running into major production trouble. 70% of the crew has quit in the very first schedule and are known to have been demanding to be flown back to India due to the lack of organization, a number of heads of production fired – there is nobody to take the blame, because apparently madam producer has frequent foul mood swings and is constantly taking short breaks to run to the bathroom or to her trailer (sniff, sniff), and appears soon after as a completely different person, but there is no real brain coordinating the production of the film. The crew that has quit has been receiving calls from the hapless director and the lead actor of the film, almost begging them to return to salvage whatever little they can from the situation. It is to be believed that in the rushes of the film the actress is looking almost 10 years older than her real age and the script doesn’t seem to be holding itself together, all combined with this new model /actor opposite her gives out the aura of a premature mid life crisis that the actress maybe going through. Sources from an international film that the actress was a part of a few years ago, suggest that she was pulled up for her constant sniffing by the director (she would appear with white powder trickling from her nose) – she was immediately barred from all narcotic activities on set. The film however, was a flop, adding another feather to the actress’ dwindling career. Other industry sources claim that she comes from a group of elite socialites, that include other A-list actors , that are known for having wild parties with generous supplies of good quality drugs at the venues which are usually the bungalows or homes of these people, some even suggest that her ex-boyfriend used to be the one supplying (due to political & business connections at high places) to the elite coke-heads of Bombay. This a small insight to the otherwise dark, drug-laden, insecure place that the Bombay film industry stands for, it is too well decorated for anyone to see the real dramas of the existences of so called super stars in this day and age. Story goes that on the sets of an International multi-starrer (a film that is most likely to cause extreme political controversy when it is released) being shot on the coastal shores of a southern country in the subcontinent, the actor in question (who is married with a kid) picked up a local questionable lady during one of his drinking binges at the local casinos in the city. This lady was then brought as his guest to an evening party that the crew was hosting – apparently the actor, was insisting on pushing one of the senior heads of department into the pool, and when he resisted, the actor got immensely angry and started tossing the furniture into the pool, his local lady friend tried to intervene but was brusquely pushed aside (and got slightly injured) by the out of control actor and if that wasn’t enough, the actor then inappropriately grabbed the chest of a female crew member. Now for the sake of continuity, the man had to be tolerated by every one on crew. Incidentally he is playing the role of a violent alcoholic in the film and sources close to the renowned director of the film suggest that his performance is standing out and shining – talk about drawing inferences from private life, just pray that you are not in the path of this actor when he is drunk! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The perfectionists film, directed by a close friend of the star’s wife- was earlier supposed to release in June, it seems that they are forced to eat humble pie and delay the film to make necessary changes to the narrative and structure to steer as far away from similarities as they possibly can at this point when the film has already been shot. The star of the film, who is known to be interfering and controlling in every aspect of any film that he is involved in has recently had a spate of ill luck, as a television show that he’s supposed to host, that has been in the making and research for a few years now, broke into a fire.

the " perfectionist" you mention, much loved Aamir khan had to delay talaash because he is busy with the tv show and doesnt have time to promote talaash. his film, released today, next month,june or december will be a super hit and will break all records.

about the PZ woman - do you guys also remember one of her ex-bf (marc robinson who was dated early in her career) mentioned very explicity in an interview once about her drug habit. it is not new, she has had it for years, since the days he was with her. I think it was a reality tv show called Iss Jangal Se Mujhe Bachao. In it Marc Robinson talks about how he had a two year live-in relationship with Preity Zinta. He said the reason they broke up was because he had a more strict life while she lived her's frivolously. According to him, whenever he used to come home, the house smelled like heaven (coke and other drugs). He also said that many others from the industry also used to come to their house to do the same...pinkvilla please publish

Suzanne Khan Roshan is/was one of PZ's best friends. (Thats how she got the role in Koi Mil Gaya btw) Suzanne's brother in law (the dj one) has been caught (and let go) on drug possession charges in India and Dubai. Her disgustingly pallow/patchy skin (which is now tattooed) is one of the tell tale signs of drug abuse.

The title & promos indicate that Aamir is searching for someone just like Vidya in Kahaani. They show a glam Kareena & a sorrowful sari clad Rani . The basic plot & climax may be similar (not identical) to Kahaani while the details are different. Aamir's so clear about his movie's release date,he even had the trailers out.Suddenly it's been pushed to a much later date.
Preity Zinta - way too obvious. Heard she had probs with drugs before. Sad to see once big stars like Preity and Manisha fall from grace like this. Too much fame is not such a good thing always. I think the film 'Heroine' will highlight this.

to the anons who replied to me - i think everything you said has been roughly answered to. aamir is a marketing campaign guru - did you read a report on how anurag kashyap wants aamir to promote his movies? cos he's that damn good. the results prove it - 3 idiots is the highest grossing film ever and holds that record, his ghajini takes 3rd place as well. if srk's marketing skills are so good, how come his film is not at the no 1 position - his RNBDJ is in 6th position and that's his highest grossing film. he doesn't need to look to anyone to see how to promote his films. since when did being a college dropout mean you can't market a film well or be intelligent just cos you don't have a certificate to "prove it"? a lot of college dropouts have gone on to become big people as mentioned below i.e bill gates, steve jobs

It has possible psychological & suicide related angle, extramarital affairs, death of Aamir-Rani's child etc.

- Dear SRK fan, Aamir Khan has been marketing movies from QSQT itself whose posters are still mentioned among most innovative marketing campaigns ever! And his marketing for Lagaan was included in case studies at IIMs. First ever for an Indian film!! Your SRK's films have never been included in IIM case studies whereas Aamir's Lagaan, RDB, 3 Idiots all have made it to IIM syllabus. And BTW, sometimes you guys claim SRK never marketed RNBDJ, and sometimes you say he first observed SRK and then promoted his film!
Aamir is not intelligent? You will decide? He's the only actor to be invited to address IAS probationers at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration and first Indian actor to be visiting faculty of India's top business school IIM-Ahmedabad. College pass-out or drop-out means nothing. Even Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are college dropouts. It doesn't mean they are not intelligent!
Even if the story about Aamir is true, I don't mind waiting until they make necessary changes. Aamir always does great movies. So it's worth waiting, unlike other so called kings who make crap movies, publicize as something you have never seen and cheat public.
And you need to shrewd if your movie has to rake in all the money within two weeks.

- LOL!! His TV show is about social causes and he is NOT EVEN ALLOWING HIS ADS to be shown with it just because HE DOES NOT WANT TO DILUTE the essence of the show! He is NOT AN opportunist like others, who would use a show on social causes and real heroes to hog limelight and promote his film!WHEN HE IS NOT EVEN SHOWING HIS ADS, WHY WOULD HE PROMOTE HIS FILM IN IT EH?
His show is NOT a usual entertainment show. It's about SERIOUS REAL LIFE ISSUES. You don't promote films in such shows!

He is producer of both TV show and Talaash with STAR and Excel respectively. He's taking a dozen TV channels for multiple simulcasts of his show in 14 different languages. TV channels have to make way to allot his show. They can't keep delaying his show and neither can he come anytime he wants to.
First understand how TV works. Then talk. When TV channels have already allotted time slots to his show and adjusted the timings of other shows, then how can he delay the show further after it has already been delayed due to loss of sets in fire?

in hollywood, such delays ALWAYS means the final product is not up to scracth and changes need to be made.
