Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are in the news again as the latter had slapped US$50 million defamation lawsuit against her and now she has counter filing. For the unversed, he did the same, as he thinks his ex-wife faked that he was the abuser. And now, in the response, Amber Heard has recounted the apparent abuse she endured by her former husband. As per Variety.com, in the court filings, she has referred him as "the monster" multiple times and even said that he wouldn't remember the abuse due to his excessive drinking and drug abuse.

She even said in the year 2015, the Pirates of the Caribbean star grabbed Heard by the hair and throat and slapped her in the face and said, "I'll f***ing kill you, you hear me?" He allegedly dragged her on a bed and punched her in the head and broke the bed frame in the process.

Heard said, "For a while, I could not scream or breathe. I worried that Johnny was in a blacked-out state and unaware of the damage he was doing and that he could actually kill me."

Talking about the couple, Heard and Depp began dating in the year 2012. They got married in 2015 and a month later he started apparently using ecstasy. Heard decided to split from him in 2016 when he threw a cellphone at her face. They divorced in January 2017.

Amber said, "I lost a part for a movie in which I had already been cast. People I have never met or spoken to threatened me with violence. She added, "People accused me of having abused Johnny. That simply is not true. I never attacked Johnny other than in self-defence."

In Depp’s US$50 million defamation lawsuit, his lawyers said, “Mr. Depp never abused Ms. Heard. Her allegations against him were false when they were made in 2016. They were part of an elaborate hoax to generate positive publicity for Ms. Heard and advance her career.”
