The Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Avengers: Endgame which went to become the highest grossing film at the worldwide box office gave birth to may fan theories and debates about the endless possibilities of how else the film could have ended and its high discussed climax. The writers of the film Avengers: Endgame have revealed the reason why Chris Evans aka Captain America chose to go back in time. Avengers: Endgame film made headlines when it left behind James Cameron's film Avatar to become to highest grossing film in the world.

All the film fans across the globe were curious to know as to why did Captain America went back in time after defeating the mad titan Thanos, essayed by Josh Brolin. The character of Captain America played by Chris Evans goes back in time to place all of the Infinity Stones to their right locations. Chris Evans aka Captain America makes sure that the Infinity Stones are now at their accurate locations and then decides to stay back with his lady love Peggy Carter essayed by Hayley Atwell. The film sees Captain America to Falcon played by actor Anthony Mackie.

The actor said about the Captain America handing over his shield to him that it does not translate into him becoming the new Captain America. According to Digital Spy, at the Disney’s D23 Expo, Anthony Mackie had admitted that Falcon is an independent character who will now grow with the added responsibilities from Captain America. But, Falcon is surely not the new Captain America in any way.
