It wouldn't be wrong to believe that Marvel Studios will steal the limelight at the San Diego Comic-Con 2019. The SDCC 2019 is taking place from July 18 to July 21. The annual convention will unfold the studios' plans for Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4. MCU fans could expect details on new Marvel movies and Disney+ shows to make the headlines. While we are eager to know what's in store for us this Comic-Con, a new report suggests we gear up for something special from Black Widow.

It is no secret that Scarlett Johansson has been filming for the Black Widow movie over the past couple of months now. The Avengers spin-off movie is set in the past, thus not hampering the fate of the Avenger as shown in Avengers: Endgame. Over the past few weeks, photos and videos from the filming location have hit the internet and teased the movie. And now, a Variety report suggests that fans prepare for a possible Black Widow trailer at the SDCC.

A source close to the production house told the international outlet, "Marvel will of course bring out the stars of its next phase, and that’ll be a moment for it, but you’re also using a presentation in Hall H to break a new piece of content. Getting something ready, like footage or a trailer for Black Widow, means a VFX acceleration. If it’s up to two or three minutes, that can run you a million bucks.”

While it doesn't confirm that the Black Widow trailer is on its way, it doesn't mean that Marvel Studios will spend the extra buck to make an impact. Fans have been demanding a Black Widow standalone movie for a while now. Given the turn of events in Avengers: Endgame, it becomes even more interesting to see how Marvel Studios sets Natasha Romanoff's past and pave way for Black Widow's future in the MCU.
