Rihanna and her company Fenty are facing a lawsuit for ignoring the needs of visually impaired people. According to the reports in The Blast, a customer named Beatriz Gutierrez has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles saying that she is unable to access Fenty's website as it not well equipped to take care of her special needs. The Blast further stated in their reports that the customer thinks the company is not utilizing the industry standard with respect to the screen-reading technology, that enables the blind customers to use the website without any hassles.

The woman who has filed this lawsuit is reportedly looking to receive $15,000 in damages, and has also demanded an injunction against Fenty Beauty. This lawsuit has not affected Rihanna much as she was recently praised by the fans for introducing new curvy mannequins in the Fenty store in New York. As per the documents with The Blast, this blind customer feels Fenty Beauty is not using technology for the blind customers to access the website and they should have done that from the start.

She further adds that there are many access barriers on Fenty's website, which makes Fenty's products absolutely unavailable for her to buy. Rihanna could be getting called out for not having an accessible website but she has been working very hard to make the brand Fenty, a size-inclusive fashion line. It remains to see what Rihanna's Fenty beauty does to its website to make it accessible to all the customers, and also make sure to avoid any further lawsuits with regards to the website not be available for everyone's use.
