Ever since Thor: Love and Thunder was announced, we've been keeping an eye out for possible updates. The biggest spoiler Marvel Studios had confirmed was that Natalie Portman will become the worthy one and turn into a new and the first-ever female Thor. Kevin Feige had previously confirmed that Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will be reprising their MCU roles for Thor 4. We now hear that Tom Hiddleston could also make an appearance as Loki in Thor: Love and Thunder.

As per a report in We Got This Covered, there are speculations that Loki could feature in the new Thor movie. How? Well, here's the explanation: As you know, an individual series on the God of Mischief is all set to hit Disney Plus. Tom will reprise his role as Loki in the standalone series. As revealed earlier, the older version of the MCU character escaped from the events following the Battle of New York in The Avengers. The new series will trace Loki's journey from thereon.

The international film website has now reported that Loki could be seen in Love and Thunder using the Tesseract. Travelling through time, he would change the course of several events. Given this, the site suggests, "Loki will use the Tesseract to travel into the main MCU timeline. This ending will apparently lay the groundwork for his appearance in the fourth Thor movie."

If this does indeed work out, it would be amazing to watch Thor and Valkyrie cross paths with the older, vicious version of Loki. Please, Marvel Studios, make this happen. Thor: Love and Thunder will see Taika Waititi handling the directorial duties.
