Ever since Wrestlemania 35 and the Superstar Shake-Up, things have taken a turn in WWE. Whether it be Kofi Kingston's monumental run as WWE Champion or even the returning Roman Reigns, all set to own the yard once again. SmackDown Live is currently filled with exceptional talents and intriguing storylines, giving its competitor Monday Night RAW, a run for their money. Roman, who was the latest entrant in SmackDown Live managed to make a big impact when he punched Vince McMahon, last week.
In this week's SmackDown Live, Shane McMahon called out Roman to avenge his father and when Reigns walked to the squared-circle, he was ambushed with a two-on-one attack, courtesy of Elias. Later, when Elias challenged Roman at Money in the Bank, The Big Dog accepted the challenge. On the other hand, the WWE champ, Kofi, had his work cut out for him as he had to go one-on-one with Shinsuke Nakamura with Xavier Woods and Kevin Owens cheering him on. It was Kofi's signature Trouble in Paradise that ended the night for The Artist. Alas, Rusev was there to save the pinfall and the match ended in a DQ.
With Woods getting taken out, Kevin found the perfect opportunity to turn heel and laid down the WWE champ. The same treatment was given to Xavier, as he tried to save Kofi.

We could be looking at Kofi Kingston vs. Kevin Owens for the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank!
