Aaradhya is a tall girl - Jaya Bachchan
In an interview to BBC and Sabras radio, Jaya Bachchan said this about darling grand daughter Aaradhya, "Aaradhya looks like a bit of Aishwarya and a bit of Abhishek. She's a tall girl." She also said, " Aishwarya is a hands on mom. She is sometimes overcautious. Aaradhya is not intimidated to faces. She is beautiful. I call her Strawberry because when she was born she reminded me of a strawberry. She is always smiling. Touchwood. Now she's trying to crawl and it's special to us." "Sometimes I tease Aishwarya and I say well Aaradhya is a very lucky girl because can you imagine having a nurse like miss world Aishwarya! .. I would also like her to start going out but she is absolutely, totally hands down and doesn't depend on anybody which I think is great." she added.

I don't get why there needs to be a fight on every single pinkvilla post. They tigger into essay length replies full of either hatred or support which totally spoils the mood out of someone like me, who loves reading what people comment. Especially on Aishwarya Rai posts, people just slander her like there is no tomorrow. If you don't like it... ignore it and move the hell on. You don't need to spread negativity and post rude ass comments every time you, yourself, click on something that you do not personally like. I am working on this myself but cut Aishwarya Rai some slack. Jaya Bachan was asked about her daughter-in-law and granddaughter so she is replying to it. Surely people wouldn't have a problem with Jaya B. talking about her family if she started insulting them. Only because she's saying good things, people are getting frustrated.
Jaya is looking so Real, whereas Ash looking so plastic.

To the one(s) going on about "oh so what, she takes care of her own baby, so what, that doesn't make her special... " You are reading way too much into the interview. Yes Jaya said she's a hands-on mom, there is nothing abnormal or unusual about a mom wanting to spend time caring for her baby. What makes the situation abnormal is how much YOU care about the time she spends caring for her baby, dissecting and crying foul over any innocent quote on the topic, even these very normal and ordinary quotes from a proud grandma.

Yes there are families just as hardworking and with limited or no means to support their families but there is a reason why Jaya Bachchan (THE MEDIA-SHYEST BACHCHAN) has come out to say this.
Reason #1: she was giving an interview and was asked the question.
Reason #2: the media is known for making up stories about her daughter-in-law, so she came to set the record straight as per what she has witnessed since the birth of her 3rd grandchild that Aishwarya is a hands-on mum.
It is not a competition between Aishwarya and the common wo-man, Jaya Bachchan was asked and she gave that response. In fact, when Aishwarya was told at Cannes this year that she topped a "Best Mothers" list with Angelina Jolie, she gave credit to all hardworking mothers of the world and said all hardworking mothers should have that title not her. How humble is that?
As per the person who asked why Jaya would refer to Aishwarya as "nurse", the statement has been taken out of context. Jaya said that to show the world that what most priviledged families pay a nurse or nanny to do, Aishwarya does for her child. Aishwarya is both mother and nurse to her daughter Aaradhya. How many celebrity mums can boast that? Even Jersey Shore's Snookie has gone on record to say that when she gives birth she WILL NOT breast feed her child because it seems like something that will be painful. If a starlet can say that, imagine was actual stars would do behind closed doors. I appreciate what Jaya Bachchan has gone on record to say but will this stop people from detracting from her daughter-in-law? With all the she's too fat, auntyji, she has no style, Sonam is better, Kareena is better, PC is better, Katrina is prettier, flop queen, double chin, she had plastic surgery, plastic smile, she went to a fertility clinic to make sure she gives birth to a boy, she did this, she did that???? Yeah right, Keep dreaming.
Grandmother already started the comparison game..now the world will catch on let the games begin. I wonder if that lil girl would really appreciate th entire world & their grandmothers comparing her to all the fruits there ever were. If she is chubby an apple if she is dark a grape she is skinny and so on. Is she more like mom or more like dad and why. Poor lil angel.

I am amazed how fans, PR make a story of everything this family says and does.It is just getting so disgusting.
What next.. maybe the story of how Aish does her own nappy change for her baby? or maybe that a story of how she is breast feeding?

Bachchan's are overhyped for everything..what is so great about taking care of your own baby?..i had a job when I had my baby and used to rush home to feed every 2 hours..i slogged my ass off at home and office juggling between different roles..and also having a toddler with it!!..possibly these privileged people dont even know how difficult it is for normal people to take care of their babies and work together..well i never gave up work cos my family needed it..now does that warrant a gold medal?..i see thousands of moms around doing this..its our duty..yes i took help of my mom and family for the first few months, i had to else it would be impossible to do it all alone.you need some time for yourself to unwind and relax and thats normal thing to do..also a big deal about pushing the baby, are u serious..that makes her a super mom is it?..have u heard about gruelling 30 hours labour, thats what some of us have done here..so we are super humans then!!
so Lara and Shilpa are nor working either and m sure they love their babies as much as Aish does..and we dont hear such crazy stories of unconditional love and blowing their own trumpet around from them...they definitely would take help and thats the most natural thing to do..agree with one of the comments here, may be they want her to get into politics, with this ideal sati savitri image which the Indian male population would latch on to..thats what makes her all fake, no one is that perfect in this world..we all have our issues and ways of dealing with it..
