I have never felt the need for cosmetic surgery: Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra is flying high. Priyanka will be the featured artist for the Thursday Night Kickoff - the pregame show for NFL Network's Thursday Night Football. Priyanka will sing her debut single "In My City,' featuring will.i.am and produced by RedOne (Lady Gaga) and Brian Kennedy at the Thursday Night Kickoff. This singing star in an exclusive interview to TOI had this to say about cosmetic surgery.Catch the rest of the interview here . Have you ever had cosmetic surgery? So far, I have never felt the need for any enhancement surgery. What I have is what I have been blessed with. People had a lot of issues about the fact that I was dusky and not a conventional-looking heroine. But I still got the opportunities I did. Grooming is a very important part of any girl's life. In the early days, I did not even know how to apply make-up. Over the years, with the help of various teams, I have worked on a vision of me and there are things that I could change in the process. This is true of most heroines. You learn to take care of yourself. I am not against plastic surgery. If it helps build self-esteem, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. But if it becomes an obsession, that can be a problem. For me, I got confidence from my films doing well. Through this profession, I came to understand myself better. So, it hurts when people judge or crucify me on imaginary counts. I have looked different at different ages because I have worked on my look. I love myself the way I am.

She is very smart and she chose her words well. She does not see the need for 'enhancement surgery' What she did go in for is ' corrective surgery'. She wholly left out the collective term cosmetic surgery

It's the same
People are not stupid, they can see for themselves. Its just that people in general appreciate honesty and you don't fall off a pedestal admitting 'gasp!' you have faults or imperfections. On a positive note, PC has really nice teeth.

I have seen many pics of her in magazines/newspapers(many years back) in which her nose almost touched her lips when she smiled. Were clearly and Very visible in side poses. She has just got that tip of her nose fixed 100% sure.

There's some really ignorant people on here.
Go watch the movies andaaz and mujhse shaadi karogi, her nose is the same. She didn't do anything to it.

If u see her eralier movies, u will see a totally different person out there... we r just talking abt nose here which is the minimum we r talking abt...no one has even mentioned what else looks different like cheeks, lips .. her face is totally different from previous times ...she looks like a a different person alltogether ..its not our fault

SHE LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME IN BOTH PICTURES!!!! She just looks fatter in the older one... Also, @makeupcritic, if ur going to critique ppls make up skills then i'm sure you know a thing or two about shading and how different colors can make different features look bigger/smaller etc. or are you here representing someone else and paid solely to bash PC? hmmm... sounds more like it.

I examined those two pictures carefully and I can surely say PC never had plastic surgery. Her nose is the same but it's the makeup that gives you that allusion. She's wearing fairer foundation, her eyebrows are darker, her nose is contoured but still in its original shape, and she's wearing green contacts. The wrinkles around her eyes are gone but that can be due to expensive skincare products and treatements at salons. These things make her look different but her face shape has not changed at all.
There's no credibility to your claim if you're gonna post pictures years apart, in different light, with different make up. I'm sure NONE of you will look different in ten years, yeah?

I don't know what the big deal about plastic surgery is, admit it, and move on!
Getting work done on yourself is fine, but at least own up to it. Especially if you're always going to complain about people judging you for the wrong reasons. I think people judge her mostly because of she seems fake a lot of the times, and she doesn't live life the way she claims. First of all, PC is in the film industry, which in and of itself is breeding ground for criticism and scandal. Second of all, I don't remember anyone making a fuss over her dusky complexion. There are PLENTY of dusky actors who came before and during PC's intro in B'wood. Just to name a few - Rekha, Smita Patil, Kajol, Rani, and Bipasha. PC always makes it sound like she's criticized unfairly and acts like a victim. But I do really like her as an actor. She is one of the very few beauty queens who can act.

there was a video in 2008 where priyanka was shown opening her mother's cosmetic surgery clinic. i had seen it myself. and also thats when she said she is not against plastic surgery.

You know what get's me angry? When she thinks that her fans and her supporters are STUPID enough to believe her. Give them some credit Priyanka.
It's obvious she is a very unconfident individual. She constantly seeks approval and wants to be something she isnt. Such a shame as she was naturally very different and unique looking.
Powdering your body to look lighter, wearing contact lenses all the time & altering the shape of your nose does not make you natural Priyanka. Just admit it and move on. I would respect her more if she didn't lie about it.
OK! That is why I hate her. At least be honest to yourself if not others. This woman is the most insecure about the way she looks!
