Happy birthday, Manisha. She had this wispy, fragileness about her that very few did. What happened to Ghai's ability to find stunning women now, I wonder.

If its about her ten best performances,it has to be among these films
2.khamoshi (she deserved national and Filmfare best actress award for it)
3.dil se(another award worthy performance)
4.akele hum akele tum
5.1942 a love story
6.agni Sakshi
7.escape from taliban(very underrated performance)
9.company(such a small role,but big impact)
Later on
mann/gupt/saudagar/khela/i am/moksha/yugpurush/tajmahal/anmol etc

Err... you forgot Agnisakhsi (1996) with Nana and Jackie. Her superlative performance as the battered wife was notches above Madhuri and Juhi's portrayal of the same role. It fetched Manisha a nomination and perhaps the first time we saw her jiggle effortlessly to O Yaara Dil lagana, dancing not being her forte. Happy Birthday Manisha, the free spirited actress of 90s

She is a true beauty. God bless her

Wish you a healthy and happy life!

Agni Sakshi?

Mann??? Really, have you ever seen the film. It was her weakest. I would rather add Agni Sakshi or Gupt

dil se and bombay she is one of the most beautiful and natural actress ever , would do the most unpredictable stuff, her innocence in Bombay was beyond words . She is a wonderful wonderful actress

Happy birthday Manisha.

Happy Birthday Manisha ........ Khamoshi I fell in love again and again with this story , manisha nana salman amazing and manisha two movie with aamir special mann ... Dil Se I just watch it for her & love her with anil she look so innocent ,,, from 90's I think manisha and tabu the two actresses who always been different and choose different roles

Happy birthday Manisha - a beauty with a kind heart, talent and brains. Loved all the movies you mentioned in this post. She definitely gave performances to be proud of.

Happy birthday to the evergreen Manisha... :-)

DIL SE is easily the most under rated bollywood movie in recent times.

She had the world in her palm - far above her contemporary Aishwarya in terms of acting ability and almost the same as Ash in terms of beauty (some may find her more beautiful perhaps) - so where did it go wrong? I'm not saying she is in a bad state or something - she is famous and loved and I hope in personal life she is happy - but nowhere close to the dizzying heights that at that time we had expected her to rise and sustain. I hope this day finds her in good health and she continues to live well.

dil se
