Many of know about the “talent hunt” for Ashiqui 2 by the Bhatt camp. Thousands of contestants from all over the world have auditioned for this role. Some definitely had potential. Bhatts had promised to sign two new faces for this movie. But now, reports have confirmed that Aditya Roy Kapoor has been signed for the lead role.
Many of the contestants have accused the Bhatt camp previously as they believed that the talent hunt was just a “publicity stunt” and that they were not going to launch new faces. Part of it came true. Now let’s see who’s the female lead.

Very good choice..he will definitely up the Bhatt camp quotient...he's very classy and the girls really like him....Bhatt will have some class now added to them....he is a great actor as well

Both he and his brother (Kunaal Roy Kapoor = nithin behri in delhi belly) are getting their roles because of their big brother, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, the head of UTV motion pictures... Siddharth is also the one who's daiting vidya nowadays

That kinda sucks for all the unknown hopefuls, the Bhatts really couldn't find one out of them? What a shame! But I must say Aditya is a hottie, I will watch it to see HIM! :)
