Aishwarya was the first choice for the hindi remake of Arundhati - Filmfare

kareena was the first choice for hum dil de chuke sanam but she was to young to enter into movies so she turned it down and went to Harvard

Uff seems like she is the first choice for everything, that video is on youtube, ash is clearly spewing hatred on Kat, its very clear she is jealous Kat getting the barbie deal...Ash claims that the mattle Inc people were after her all along soon after she won ms world...she was just too busy for it and she calls herself a through professional as she had other professional commitments...I am sure Madhur B is aware of that...my my she & her PR will never stop tooting her horn, right from calling her 'the most beautiful woman' yeah right the latest pics from the ambani party prove exactly that

There is a huge difference when bebo says it coz of the huge negative publicity associated with herione. she is not trying to put other people down, merely saying that look, i was offered it before aishwarya in the first place...absolutely necessary for her to say that. And there is nothing wrong with her words... it WAS always her film coz it went back to her!!! So karma or fate or luck or plain right person for right job.

As for sloppy seconds, it was Aishwarya Rai who was doing Herione AFTER Bebo declined it and that too meekly accepting it and not asking for any changes...Bebo would have turned it down again if her demands weren't met..hats off to her for not backing down!! And btw I adore her and saif.

Aishwarya Rai was also offered James Bond, avatar, mission impossible, lara croft, tatanic, super woman etc but she refused all these movies because she thought the roles weren't challenging enough so she preferred to dance around trees in bollywood movies.

aish is old and retired she joined the league of Maduhari, Juhie, raveena etc she is not getting any offer her PR makes false rumors and she will never get any offer in future so her fans need to stop hyping about her because they will see her on big screen aging ever.

^^Nope she is not in the league of Madhuri, Juhi, Raveena, Karishma etc. Aishwarya saw a lot of success even after her marriage which none of those actresses did! Aish paved way for married actresses now she will also pave way for mommy actresses. You just WATCH!

PS Ash is not doing these movies but Kareena is cos she is on a maternity leave u dumbass

Erm no.... u r wrong coz bebo never said she got it first when aishwarya was doing the role. Obviously it was necessary and justifiable for her to clarify that she was the original choice after all the big drama and the Aishwarya fiasco.
And btw what bebo said was actually true, everyone knows that she was approached for it first coz the director kept saying it from the very beginning much much BEFORE ash was cast in the role, but with this arundati thing, u cant tell whether in fact aishwarya was offered it or whether it is the figment of someone's imagination!

What I said was that bebo stated that Heroine was always her movie AFTER she officially accepted the movie offer. Where am I wrong? She refused Heroine when it was offered to her, before ash's involvement, but that doesn't make it her movie. Ash was the first to officially sign the movie and shoot for it, and after she was dropped, bebo stepped in, so technically it wasn't ONLY bebo's movie like a property or something...Just because you're the first approached for a movie it doesn't make it ALWAYS YOUR movie...she just said that so that she doesn't look like she got sloppy seconds, not because she wanted to clarify something after anything. She could have just said that 'I was the original choice', and stop right there, without adding that it was always her movie. I'm a bebo fan, but even I can't ignore what an arrogant star she is sometimes. I'm sensing you're not a bebo fan, but an ash hater and a trouble stirrer... In this Arundathi's case it doesn't matter much who got offers first, the only important thing is bebo almost signed for this, and no one else actually filmed for this in Hindi. Have any of you guys seen Arundhati? Body wise Deepika is perfect but her acting talent falls short. Vidya could potray it well but her body is a hindrance. No wonder they thought of the best choice like Aish who could fulfill both the look and the performance

Hun, u're the one who is DELUSIONAL. The article says they would give the role to Asin because she had starred in another film of theirs - Ghajini. They were Geeta Arts. BUT GUESS WHAT!!! They didnt get the rights. Gemini films did and they offered the role officially to AISHWARYA first! Simple as that.

Seriously dont get the hype about Kareena. She had ONE film to be proud of out of all the films she did in the past 12 years - Jab We Met. For the first 8 years of her career she didnt have a single defining hit but kept getting movies because of her Kapoor surname and connections in industry. Now she is getting a few hits because she plays second fiddles to Khans. When she stars opposite small time stars like Imran or Saif, the film is either average (EMAET) or a disaster!!! She is the only heroine in history who hasn't been successful in giving a hit with SRK! Though I am not a fan of Aishwarya, I have to appreciate her for taking the industry with a storm without any filmy background and she is EVERYWHERE.. from Oscars to Cannes to Filmfare! For not sucking up to Khans or big prod houses like Dharma or Yash Raj. Also as an actress, she has actually done some noteworthy work... having worked in a lot of national award winning films. She is a national award/Padmashree winner herself! Everything she did on her own without mudslinging which Kareena loves to do - insulting other actresses by passing catty remarks against them.

I am not an Aishwarya fan but I find her a far better actress, dancer, beauty and more importantly the better HUMAN BEING than Kareena.

Well, Aishwarya had successfully played a warrior princess before (Jodhaa Akbar). She has done several action movies as well (Last Legion, Dhoom 2, etc). She was the perfect choice for the role.

But looks like Kareena is after anything that has had to do with Aishwarya. First Heroine, SLB's next and now Arundhati.

It's hard to imagine Kareena as a warrior princess though. She is afraid of action. Also Arundhati was tall... like Anushka and Ash. Kareena is medium height. She was a brilliant dancer as well. The less spoken of KK's dancing abilities, the better.

Somehow I don't predict a good film in Arundhati Hindi. Sorry if I sound pessimistic. But thats how I feel.

Who cares whether or not she was offered it first? People try to make out that other actresses r taking rejects of Aishwarys Rai are just sick. I am sure there are plenty of roles that Aishwarya did or was gonna do that were rejected by others! (eg Herioine, but Kareena never made a hue and cry that look I was offered it first..I mean so what??? I am sure Bebo doesnt care and rightly so!)
