Arjun Rampal and wife Mehr Rampal will walk the haloed 'red carpet' at the Festival de Cannes, 2012, courtesy an exclusive invitation from Cannes film festival partner and global luxury brand, Chivas Regal. The most famous film festival and Chivas are a perfect match as icons of glamour, legend and luxury worldwide.

Arjun Rampal and Mehr Rampal will be gracing the red carpet on the closing evening of thefestival, with a galaxy of Hollywood and international superstars, are not tobe missed.

Arjun Rampal commenting on his visit to Cannes FilmFestival said, "Chivas Regal is one of the iconic brands in the world and I am promoting the values of 'Creative Brotherhood' through my association with them in India. It is an absolute honour to walk the haloed red carpet with theinternational super stars and filmmakers at the Cannes Film Festival and I am happy to represent Chivas at this global event."

dude. being hired by your own employers to walk a red carpet is not an achievement.
this is true for sonam, ash, deepika etc.
it is an achievement to be there as a jury member (as ash has been, prior to all her loreal walks) or to have a move showcased in the competitive category (any other showcase is actually paid for by the movie producers itself so does not count) or to win a prize at Cannes.
Simply being invited to Cannes is not an accomplishment of any sort as every sponser is given a certain number of tickets to give to its teams.

Hundred, thousands of every day ppl will walk the red carpet and not be remembered the next day as well. (for example, all of Chivas's employees in Europe who can bother making the trip to Cannes)
