A terminally ill Marvel fan Alexander (he is suffering from liver cancer, mouth cancer, and bone marrow failure) took to Reddit to reach Marvel and convey the message that he is not expecting to live past the next three months and wishes to watch Avengers: Endgame before dying. Now, Alexander took to Twitter to reveal that he has been contacted by Disney, Marvel's parent company. "Disney have reached out and we're discussing options. Thank you all so much. This is everything I could have hoped for! Please consider donating to Fanconi Anemia research: https://www.fanconi.org/donate," he tweeted.

For the unversed, on January 5, 2019, Alexander, under the username /u/alexander_q, took to Reddit to share that he may pass away before the Avengers: Endgame which premieres on April 26, 2019 and his post to the Marvel Studios subreddit soon went viral. “I’m not a child or anyone with a, particularly tragic story. Just a normal guy,” Alexander wrote. “I’m 33, lost my sister three years ago to the same rare genetic disease it turns out I have too. I’ll leave behind a devoted girlfriend and an adopted greyhound.”“I thought I’d make it to April at least, but my bone marrow is toast," Alexander added.

Netizens soon started the campaign “#Avengers4Alexander" and the same helped him to spread the awareness of his wish. An exclusive pre-screening is a big request, but it seems that Disney will fulfill his wish considering the company had granted a similar wish way back for an ill fan who wished to watch the film Star Wars.
