Although names such as Kareena Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra, and Aishwarya Rai come to mind due to their charges for acting in films (in which Kareena has been the highest and recently joined by Vidya Balan) as well their bandwagon of endorsements.

BUT NONE OF THESE LADIES IS THE RICHEST WOMAN IN BOLLYWOOD...ANY GUESSES?

According to a TOI report, Preity's stake in her cricket team alone is valued at around Rs 350 to Rs 400 crores. Experts think that the number is much higher. Additionally, she is also the legal heir of Shandar Amrohi who is one of the owners of the Kamalistan Studios (previously owned by Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi). The property is valued at hundreds of crores and seems to be an eye candy in real estate.

well that investment in IPL was a gift from her ex-beau Ness Wadia of Wadia group of Industries (Bombay Dyeing etc). They are worth billions. So Preity didn't exactly buy it from her own money. Her whole fortune could be around 50 crore at max

This is old news. Yes Preity is rich but she is not the heiress to the Amrohi property. she's even cleared this up before.

Clearly miffed by the reports, Preity took to twitter and posted, "No1 has or ever will adopt me or sign me in a will. Things said in interviews and reported are far from facts as the proof is in the pudding!"

Shandar and Tajdar Amrohi are in legal battle with their sister Rukhsar and her son Waseem, over the Mumbai property share. How can Preity have anything to do with this land when she isn't even a part of their family!
