Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally reached an agreement over child custody and the news of it has come just a few days before the trial. For the uninitiated, the trial was scheduled for December 4. This agreement nullifies their trial over custody, but they have not yet reached a final divorce settlement. "A custody arrangement was agreed to weeks ago, and has been signed by both parties and the judge. The agreement, which is based on the recommendations of the child custody evaluator, eliminates the need for a trial. The filing and details of the agreement are confidential to protect the best interests of the children," Samantha Bley DeJean of Bley and Bley said in a statement.

Also, the news comes after the duo asked for another extension to retain their private judge. Reportedly, Judge John Ouderkirk has been extended for their divorce case. For the unversed, Brad and Angelina have six kids - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. While Angelina wants full custody of kids, Brad wants joint custody. Angelina had filed for divorce from Pitt citing irreconcilable differences.

Brangelina, as called by their fans, met on the sets of movie Mr and Mrs Smith in the year 2004. The couple was together for around ten years before they tied the knot. Pitt earlier was married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston and Pitt was Jolie's third partner after her relationships with actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
