Confirmed : Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to attend Cannes International Film Festival this year
Here is some good news for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan fans. Pinkvilla.com can confirm that Aishwarya will be attending the 65th Cannes International Film Festival this year. Aishwarya who has been attending the festival since 2002 as the global face of L'Oreal will be seen walking the red carpet this year too. Bipasha Basu, Arjun Rampal, Sonam Kapoor are also expected at Cannes this year. The 65th Cannes International Film Festival takes place from May 16 to May 27.

she still unrecognizable by western media last year Manishe Lambe was mistaken as Aishwarya by western media and this was all over internet but her PR try to cover it that proves that she is not as famous in west as she hopes us to believe.

This one time she should have bowed out gracefully and taken time to be with her kid and lose the tons of kilos that she's piled on... But NO, she can't give up the fame and attention and the media screaming for her... She's totally attention hungry. It's not like Loreal would close down if she weren't there to represent them this one time... She has no need to prance about like a teenager anymore!
Love Aish and Abhi. I hope Abhi goes with her. He will look dashing, since he has been working out & losing weight lately, but too bad ... people won't be looking at him (poor guy). Maybe he should just stay home with the baby. People (media, fans, haters, & between) will be more interested in Aish & what she's wearing especially this year considering her weight gain. She can still lose weight if she does the cabbage soup diet (yuck!!!) & do a lot of cardio exercise. It work! But not a healthy way to lose weight & definately not fun :(
i am pretty sure she will be back to trim because i am sure she went to dubai for some nip/tuck. her tummy was huuuggggge just the other day and in cannes it will be all flat and trim and then all her lickers will say wow kya body hair yaar...meanwhile she had to take tummy tuck and lip to shave the fat off.
Of course she has to go, thtas the only way she can get some international attention. Full-time mommy, bah! Fame is very addictive & esp for someone as attention crazy as her. I am sure all of her fans are waiting to photoshop her.

I think it is great that she still gets endorsements and attends these events because this is going to raise the age bar actresses who are coming up so their career wont be up by they turn 30. So Kudos to all the 30+ actresses who are still doing work in the industry ! :)

If she has lost even a little weight ............everyone will say she went for surgery.
If she is still the same then...........she is obese.
If she wears a saree...........trying to cover her belly.
If wears a gown................."fat aunty wearing a gown"
Now we can conclude that no matter what she does she can't make everyone happy so Go Aishwarya and Rock the red carpet !!
