Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film De De Pyaar De is all set to release. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has suggested three cuts in the original edit of the movie and has awarded it with a U/A certificate. The film which also stars Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh sent a buzz around when the trailer first dropped. While many people questioned why Alok Nath who was accused in the Me Too campaign, was a part of the film, there were some who had issues with the songs.

De De Pyaar De is a unique film based on a love triangle between Rakul Preet, Ajay Devgn and Tabu. Ashish, played by Ajay, is a 50 year old man who falls in love with Ayesha, played by Rakul, who is 26 years old. His family including his ex-wife Manju, played by Tabu, is against this relationship.

With only one day left for the film to hit theatres, the CBFC has asked the makers to make three changes. First is to replace the bottle of alcohol in the song Vaddi Sharaban with a bouquet of flowers. In the song, Rakul can be seen holding a bottle of whiskey and dancing with it. Other than this, the Censor Board has asked the makers to cut two visuals with the dialogues- “performance better hoti hai” and “Manju ji ke aalu O ho ho …wahi ache hain..”…“ki yeh sab jhoot hain.”

De De Pyaar De is directed by debutant Akiv Ali and will release on May 16th.
