Maybe if it was the 90s, the outdated humour involving unabashed objectification of women, cringeworthy one liners might have found an audience. But, Not today. Fraud Saiyaan starring Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla is the textbook example of how a comedy flick shouldn’t be made. It is wrong at so many levels that it is difficult to even sit through the first half.

Arshad plays a ‘fraud’ husband Bhola who marries and flirts non chalantly with women for money. He is unapologetic about it while the women around him are absolute dumb. Saurabh Shukla plays Murari, a relative of one of Bhola’s wife who acts as a spy in disguise, on a mission to expose Bhola (Arshad). What follows is a romance between fart and Bhola and trust me, it only adds to the annoyance.

Let’s hope the movie is able to redeem itself a bit post interval. Stay tuned for full review.
