Chris Pratt is a devout Christian and he loves talking about his faith in the religion. Recently, Chris Pratt talked about his spiritual side on the famous The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The Guardians of the Galaxy star was promoting his movie The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, and on the show, Pratt revealed that he just finished a 21-day Daniel Fast that he took part in. He also said how the church's pastor shared some words of wisdom about how he can balance fame and his inner self.

And now, actress Ellen Page who is known for voicing opinions on vital matters took a dig at him not on his spiritual beliefs but for attending a church that has regressive beliefs about the LGBTQ population. “Oh. K. Um. But his church is infamously anti LGBTQ so maybe address that too?” she tweeted. For the unversed, the same place of worship is attended by famous people like Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner. One of the branches of the church was blasted in the year 2015 for saying that homosexuality is a sin and that a gay member can never hold a leadership position.

As per an article on TheOutline.com, a former congregant revealed that no one in the church is willing to have a real conversation about the church’s pro-life stances. The writer also went on and revealed the sordid history of endorsing gay conversion therapy. “I don’t regret the decision to walk away from a church that cares so much about fame more than faith,” the article concludes. So, this could be also on Page's mind when she tweeted out this sly dig on Friday.

Page who came out as gay in 2014 has been an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ rights. Earlier when she appeared on the Late Show, she spoke out against the racist and homophobic attack on Empire star Jussie Smollett, and even condemned Vice President Mike Pence’s anti-LGBTQ policies and his support of conversion therapy.
