Gul Panag and her husband are getting a new address 35 kms from Pune (closer to Mumbai) and have warned us, not to expect any flashy lights or dazzline decor. The home will be rather a place to de-stress and feel relaxed, and is certainly an eco-friendly one. Gul's vision is to self-subsistence while living there; she wants to grow her own fruits abnd vegetables and will resemble the farms of Punjab. The home will be designed to in a way that very little electriity is required and have lots of natural light. This is the first home in the area that has been certified by 'Teri Griha' which is a rating system in India for environmental home certification.
It's great to see that such members of the society are not only talks but rather putting their words into action!
