"If he is Big B, then I am double B" - Shatrughan Sinha
Shatrughan Sinha, whose stint as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati in Bhojpuri is already being compared with Amitabh Bachchan, the current host of Kaun Banega Crorepati in Hindi, says he will not imitate his yesteryear's contemporary. "If he is Big B, then I am double B (Bihari Babu)," says Sinha jokingly. "Why shold I imitate Amitabh Bachchan? He has his own style on KBC and I will have my own. I don't claim I'm better than him but I don't feel I'm inferior to him either. He's an old friend." Kaun Banega Crorepati's first season aired in 2000. Bachchan hosted season two, and more recently season four. The show is poised to return later this year for season five. Shatrughan SinhaSinha says he's aware that Bachchan's performance as the anchor casts a long shadow but is confident that his own original style will connect with the Bhojpuri audience. "Be it films or TV shows, I have never copied anyone. I think it's for the viewers to judge our performances," he adds. The actors worked together in Dostana, Shaan, Naseeb and Kala Pathartogether. Sinha, who is rehearsing for Ke Bani Crorepati, agreed to anchor the show to promote Bhojpuri language. "It was spoken by leading personalities of the country including the first President of Independent India Rajendra Prasad, Loknayak Jayprakash Narayan and late Prime Minister Chandrasekhar. I wish to spread the awareness about the language," he adds.(Bihari Babu)," says Sinha jokingly. "Why shold I imitate Amitabh Bachchan? He has his own style on KBC and I will have my own. he has very honest, kindhearted and fun loving personality.
Mr Shatrughan Sinha are nobody
People call him Big B, you call yourself double B. Good ! People can call themselves whatever they want is't it? funny!
yeah, mr sinha is right. he always wanted to be different even in films. i feel he was overshadowed by the popularity of AB, dharam paaji and shashi kapoor during his stay in bollywood, despite being a true actor.
inspite of some nasty digs at each other,i'm glad that shatru and AB are fenz still.
but he wants to do the show to promote the lang, ehh??? but again, he is as he says a true bihari.
i wish him good luck with the show though.
Why is he always after Big b
Personally I think that he is mentally living Amitabh Bachchan's shadow. He obviously admires him a lot and I think he resents him a lot too. This is the impression that I get from his Filmfare column, actually I think Shatrugan Sinha is obsessed with AB in a very weird way. So I think it's really funny that he's doing the Bhojpuri version of KBC, but I say good for him... I'm sure the show will be a hit.
He is crazy! Salman's chamcha. Him and his fat daughter needs to get out of bollywood.
MR. SINHA...KHAMOSH...
No one cares Mr Sinha.
"If he is Big B, then I am double B" ---- Ummmmm....Good for you Mr. Sinha!!
