Jism 2 Lingerie and Underwear To Be Auctioned
Jism 2 has been creating quite the buzz since its inception. Now, Pooja Bhatt and lead actress, Sunny Leone have come out and stated that all the lingerie worn by Sunny in the film and other underwear worn by the other actors will be auctioned and the money raised will be donated to a charity (not named yet). Pooja Bhatt also added that this has been done in Hollywood for quite sometime now and she wants to try the trick in India.

this is exactly what I meant, that apart from the teenagers A LOT of "young kids" who are 9/10 uses internet these days!...And then few days ago...my mom was like "who is sunny leone?" lol..and I DIDNT reply..so she searched in google....and then....I don't know what she saw...but she just suddenly got into an "awkward" situation, closed the lid of laptop, and yeah....NEVER asked me again who she is....bcoz she was soo embarrassed....which i could CLEARLY tell from the expressions of her face.....
I just hope this movie FAILS very badly...and she goes back to the porn industry.... and all these arguments about her just ends...
I hope I will win the argument by the end of the day.... lol.
@Fiza_Khan - I agree with u..... I dont have anything against her, I think she is real and jolly person (in interviews though). But casting her as a mainstream heroine ,that too in bollywood is bad decision.....In todays time children as young as 10 yrs old use internet.. when they will hear their name, they will deffo search her, and guess what? The first thing that pops is her website, which is hardcore pornography..My 8 yr old cousin sister asks me the name of the actresses when they appear on TV or magazines.. now if she asks me again, what will I tell her? lol... this is embarrasing...

TDP was a mainstream film, produced by ekta kapoor and everything, it wasn't an arthouse or indie film by any means.

I don't think we should judge her till we've seen a promo at least.Regardless of her previous occupation,its her present acting skills that matter. And its not her fault that the bhatts make sleazy movies.The filmmakers are at most fault. She was cast bcoz the bhatts thought her fit for this sleazy movie.And they are right,can you imagine anyone else doing such a movie? The filmakers and producers today produce no good movies,hence the lack of promising new comers.They are the ones to be blamed.

The Dirty Picture is a mainstream bollywood film. It's not an independent film that went onto being recognized later. It's a masterstroke at success (Bollywood 2011). Another mainstream that did not show women as sexual objects is Kahaani. Yes, that too is a mainstream bollywood film. Just a thought.

Okay, I understand why people think this kind of stuff is cheap and vulger, but HONESTLY, it has been happening for a long time. I think it is hypocritical to point fingers at Sunny Leone but then watch big budget films that have "item" songs that cheaply sexualize women. This is a trend that didn't start yesterday, so please remember that.
The occasional Hindi film or any Indian film that actually shows a woman with dignity, an intelligent, well-written character, those movies rarely become hits. People want to see someone shaking their ass, god forbid there actually be an intelligent female character beyond showing skin, cliches of being "cute" or "sexy" or whatever.
Please name any female character that is actually memorable -- like a truly intelligent and original character showing emotional depth -- in recent times in "mainstream" bollywood films. Don't say Dirty Picture. While Vidya Balan was good, it is not a mainstream film.

@Fiza, I agree with you that there are talented people who are struggling to get into the industry. And this is not against Sunny but it's just unfortunate to see so many people who are wayyyyy more talented than her are not getting any chances because she will bring in crowds which everyone knows for what reason.
