Karan Johar gives a big NO to reports suggesting Kuch Kuch Hota Hai sequel being in pipeline

There are some Bollywood movies that the audiences love so much that they would want a remake of the same or atleast a sequel of the same. However, that might not be a possibility as movies like those are masterpieces and should not be messed around with. This can be said about Karan Johar’s directorial debut film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai starring Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kajol. The movie was a superhit and is still loved by the audience. The love triangle between Tina, Rahul and Anjali is very popular across the globe.

After the celebrating 20 years of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, there were reports coming in that Karan Johar was planning to make a sequel to the same. Also, in his show Karan Johar asked a question in the rapid fire round to his guests asking them for suggestions for the star cast of the sequel to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Thus, reports started coming in that he has finalised the story and is planning a sequel. However, Karan decided to put a stop to all the stories and reports and had a one word answer to it. Kjo took to Twitter to address the reports and wrote, “NO.”

Finally, Karan Johar put a stop to all the rumours and reports in one go by negating the news. On the work front, Karan Johar is busy directing his next titled Takht starring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. It is a period film that revolves around the war era. The movie is slated to release in 2020. On the other hand, Karan Johar is geared up to produce the Hindi version of 2.0 starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. The movie is slated to release on November 29, 2018.
