Kareena Kapoor to appear in mom-in-law's sharara for her wedding
A wedding dress is something that a girl will never compromise on. That especially for a girl who can have any dress by any designer in the world. It is not surprising to be taken aback by Kareena's humility to wear her to-be mom-in-law Sharmila's wedding dress in order to conform to the family tradition. She will sport the sharara that Sharmila wore during her wedding to Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi on December 27, 1969. A source told TOI, "There was talk of Kareena draping a new saree but then, this is the custom in the Pataudi family and it is generally followed. Kareena had no issues when she was told about it. She and Sharmila bond very well." However, there is a possibility of a few modifications to the sharara to make it look a tad contemporary and buzz is, fashion designer Ritu Kumar, who has a long-standing relationship with Sharmila, will work on this. But Kareena's friend added, "There is also a possibility she may wear the sharara without any changes whatsoever. Kareena and Sharmila have had discussions on this. A final call will be taken soon. The interesting part being Kareena will be seen in Sharmila's sharara at the biggest moment of her life. The preparations have started which includes readying Kareena and Saif's outfits," Kareena's favourite designer Manish Malhotra will also join in to fashion her other outfits for all the celebrations through the wedding.

If you watch her interview with Tiger Pataudi on simi garewal's rendezvous, you'll see. She talks about them taking trips to paris and all together before they were married.What else could they have been doing in a hotel in paris? lol

To the people below who are wondering about whether the clothes were with Amrita Singh or not...Amrita Singh never got to wear elaborate wedding clothes and have a big wedding...Saif and her married without their parent's consent and in a "running away" kind of manner...she just wore some simple clothes during their wedding, which was only a formal ceremony to solemnize their marriage...so she never had any of these fancy clothes that Kareena is going to get to begin with!
