It all started on the couch of the sixth season of Koffee with Karan when Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and batsman K L Rahul graced the show. For the first time, Karan Johar hosted cricketers on his show and while the show started on a good note, it clearly didn’t end well because soon after the show, Twitterverse bashed Hardik Pandya for his sexist remarks. During the show, Hardik Pandya was seen boasting about sending the same text to multiple women, hooking up with multiple women and not asking names of women at parties. Moreover, Hardik Pandya got talking about virginity and how he informed his parents that he lost his virginity in a funny manner.

And perhaps, Hardik had a sense of realization after he faced backlash on social media, and as a result, today, Hardik Pandya took to social media to apologize for his comments and as he wrote, “After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologize to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone's sentiments. Respect.”

Currently, Hardik Pandya is with the Indian team in Australia where they created history by beating Australia in the Test series as this is India's first Test series win. Post the Test series, Hardik Pandya is now gearing up for the three-match ODI series against Australia which starts on January 12, 2019 in Sydney.

His apology reminded me of this- How Not To Make A Public Apology - The Mash Report BBC Two

This is the standard Indian cricket team has sunk to?

He’s illiterate and ignorant and he proved that money can’t buy class or looks in his case.

Pity his wife to be!

That's why kids, get an education or you will be a moron and parents, teach your kids manners and respect or else they will turn into Hardik.

He just showed his true colors that's all.

Watching him speak actually made me realise the importance of education. Cricketer or actor eveyone should get their basic education. For instance look at how well a Sara Ali Khan presented herself and look Hardick (pun intended) projected himself. Some people may argue that this may not be the most fair comparison but this Hardick made me cringe on more than one instance. And KL Rahul didn’t know that Pataudi was indeed captain of Indian team at some point in time. This is ridiculous to see and makes me question if the new gen of sportsmen are here for the glamor and money and all that
comes with it? Frankly I miss fhe humility of a Tendulkar or a Dravid, those were the men I loved seeing representing the country!

waiting for KJo's 'apology'

why? karan maybe over the top ..but ...by doing this particular show he highlighted the dark side of these cricketers who are idolized by the whole country...good

I hated this episode, karan , hardik and rahul. But for once we need to thank karan for bringing this episode so that we know what the Indian male cricket players, whom we love so much, are really like in real life. Karans appetite for gossip and sex talk and hitting headlines, hit all the right strings this time

110% this is written and posted by KL Rahul, he is again trying to cover up for his buddy lol

Indians need to realize that there are black people that actually love watching Bollywood movies and learning about Indian culture

Nice

Hi

He is a badly brought up , uneducated a.. He’ll apologise but never learn

His apology is the absolutely not sincere at all! It shows he doesn’t care and is just doing so cause he got told to do it. He literally doesn’t care

Apology doesn’t make it okay but at least he had the courtesy to do so and admit his lack of judgement. Sallu still hasn’t apologized for his “rape” comment while shooting for Sultan

Not carried away, he showed how he truly is, behaves and actually thinks.

To be honest, they all think the same way but celebs gets trained on what to say and how to say it.

Written by K L Rahul.

Too late a gentleman is a gentleman who never gets carried away- you’re just a waste of space man

Well, whatever happens, apologize is already a good thing to do. Good point for you dude, now, you'll think about it twice. Celebrity doesn't permit everything...don't forget he's just 25 also, it's not an excuse but we all know how critical this age is for young men, they are usually quite a bit stupid during their 20-30's. Let's go back to some education and i'm sure it will be ok.

Just 25?? Some of us got married and had kids at that age..

I actually believe him.
