Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to be screened at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne as KJo marks 20 years in Bollywood

Director-producer Karan Johar created a beautiful era for all the youngsters back in the late 90's. By making superhit films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gum and Kal Ho Naa Ho, the filmmaker made memorable. Karan made his debut in the film industry with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Rahul and Anjali's bond will give us friendship goals forever. Now, one of the most successful filmmakers, Karan Johar has completed 20 years in the industry.
To mark the same, the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will host a special screening of the 1998 blockbuster film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai on August 10 at HOYTS Melbourne Central, which will be attended by Karan. Post the screening, Karan will also address the audience, talking about his debut film and it's effect on the pop culture. Speaking about it, Karan said, “I’m excited to be celebrating this landmark year in my professional life at IFFM. It’s been a very rewarding 20 years of a journey and time well spent telling stories and having the freedom to be a storyteller."
He further added, "Filmmaking is my passion and the deep rooted love I have for cinema and being here in this time to be completing two whole decades is very gratifying. I have been to the festival before and I have loved being there. I’m looking forward to another opportunity to celebrate Indian cinema in the land down under.”
