No habia visto el video original, Madhuri practicamente hace todo el baile y Aish solo baila parte de ello, y me gusto mucho el baile de Madhuri, lo siento es mi parecer Aishwrya siempre sera el rostro bello, pero solo eso el rostro...

Nah! The original with Aishwarya is so much better. Mads was a brilliant dancer no doubt, but she looked heavy-footed nowadays due to her age. Only her fans and Ash-haters will be the ones backing her for this.
@Performing on stage in one take is way more challenging than what Ash did. Ash looked fab but what do you expect? She had the magic of cinema editing, full on make up. hair extensions etc etc...they can stop and start anytime... lights camera, action...so please let us not undermine what madhuri did at all. Same here, they can start and stop anytime, madhuri's performance is not live, it will be aired on jhalak later , and there will be cinema editing, cut , here as well . And Madhuri also has FULL MAKEUP, DRESS DESIGNER, hair stylist, magic of lights, camera, action

I think it's interesting to see how the Udi song can have a different interpretation, but you can' t really compare the two. In the context of the movie, Aishwarya's character sophia is improvising, trying to make Ethan laugh. She is adorable in that scene. Maudhuri is an amazing dancer and she did well, but the tenderness and sponteneity in Aishwarya's scene is just spot on!

madhuri is nothing compared to aish in dancing ...she lacks the grace that aish has .... aish is the queen .
that hair style is stolen from spanish ..not aishwarya s own style so aishwarya is just poor copy of spanish dance and also with her ridiculous expressions and over-acting ends up looking so fake and wannabe scene -so ash loses,the other which is more natural than hers wins
She got the physical aspects right, but the grace and the effortlessness of the song were missing. Aishwarya was something else in the song...
She even has the red rosette in her hair, OF COURSE SHE KNOWS THE ORIGINAL PERFORMER IS AISHWARYA.

Really the STUPIDEST comment ever. Madhuri doesn't know WHO ORIGINALLY PERFORMED IT? When you are dancing on National level tv show, and you don't know who originally performed the song you are dancing to, then you must be the dumbest dancer on earth.
Have you ever seen a contestant who in singing/dancing competitions on a national tv , performs a song/dance and he doesn't know who was the original artist he is copying/performing? Even a 5 year old kid says he likes SRk/Katrina's song, so he is choosing to perform on that.
And Madhuri is the judge, not a 5 year old kid . And has been in industry for 20 years, and is still desperately trying for a comeback . If a judge doesn't know it, use "chullu phar pani mei doob marna chahiya"

Oh, she did not perform to be compared! Anyway, one is a movie with a charachter, the other is a TV show.
One is based on Flemenco, the other on Tango.

Aishwarya's performance had so much grace. In comparision, Madhuri's performance focused too much on the mechanical aspects and was not upto the mark in the other departments. I am no Ash fan and Madhuri is actually a better dancer. But I would be biased to say Madhuri was better. I frankly feel this song was made a classic only thanks to Ash. Otherwise it wasn't that great a song.

The choreography is better in this song compared to the original. We can't see Madhuri's face clearly . However, it just doesn't feel okay that a behanji like Mads of 45 years of age is wearing sexy clothes, deep back dress and trying sexy dance steps, when her whole life we have seen her in sarees and suits. The public image she has, this western clothing/dancing just doesn't suit her. Mind just thinks she is too old and should too something graceful then trying her hands on this
How anybody can see Madhuri's face in the video is totally beyond me.
Aishwarya has a stereotype movements facial expressions, which is rather irritating.I am ready to see some other actress dance to the same song.Madhuri seems good from far, but need to see the final performance to comment.

I agree ..though ASH didn't have any heavy movements in that song , she carried it so gracefully...she gave a stunning perfomance..but I can't get why this film isn't a hit only brainless movies are hit in India
