Happy Maha Shivratri wishes have taken over on the social media. Celebs have taken to social media to wish their fans Happy Mahashivratri. The celebrities have been wishing for good health and good things for everyone on the occasion of this day. From putting up pictures of Lord Shiva to explaining the significance of the festival, celebrities have been chanting Har Har Mahadev. The Hindu festival is widely being celebrated across the country to worship Lord Shiv. South Indian celebs Mahesh Babu, Dhanush, Raashi Khanna and others took to Twitter to wish their fans #HappyMahaShivratri.

Maha Shivratri is celebrated as the day when Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married and is also called the "destroyer of evil". Well, the celebrities not only wished their fans but also prayed for blessings from the almighty. The gorgeous Raashi Khan tweeted, “May the Lord shower his eternal blessings on you and your loved ones. #Mahashivratri wishes to all of you.”  Mahesh Babu also tweeted, “Wishing you and your family a happy #Mahashivratri!! May the blessings & supreme energy of Lord Shiva be with all of you, guide you throughout. Om Namah Shivay.”

Actor Sai Bellamkonda shared a photo of Lor Shiva and wished his fans with a special message that read, “On the occasion of Maha Shivratri may the almighty Lord Shiva bless you all good things and perfect health. Happy Maha Shivratri to you and your family! #HappyShivaratri."
