Anushka Sharma in Peekay opposite Aamir and opposite Ranbir in Bombay Velvet
Here's one bollywood actress who's charmed her way into the A-list with her extremely lucky debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shahrukh Khan under the YRF banner. Anushka is wanted by many filmmakers and she's been keeping busy doing films, endorsing brands, shooting ads, etc. She has been signed for Rajkumar Hirani's "Peekay" opposite Aamir Khan who feels that Anushka is one of the most talented actresses in that age group. However, Ranbir Kapoor too suggested her name to Anurag Kashyap for "Bombay Velvet" and although she was excited to do the project, dates were clashing with "Peekay". Now Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet" has been pushed back and she is able to work on both the projects. Anushka attending the Gangs of Wassepur screening in London recently only confirms this fact(that she is going to star in Bombay Velvet). Here's to two new Bollywood pairs in the making!

Getting offers with Ranbir and Aamir does not prove that your are one of the best. It means you have the look & acting skills which will not overpower the hero. Just like Nargis in Rockstar and soon Katrina in Dhoom 3.

It's not true that these actors want to star opposite actresses who make them look superior in the films but because they're fair and prettier. Angela Jonsson auditioned with Aamir for Dhoom 3 but at the end Aamir suggested that they cast Katrina over Angela. Nargis was chosen over dusky actresses because she has that foreign look, not because of her acting.

aamir is a great actor, so is anushka. but its an odd pairing. y do these directors insist on pairing 40+ buddhas with girls in 20s? part of it is the actresses fault too, cuz they go on and on abt how lucky they are to work with khans cuz they're the legends blah blah. shouldnt they have the attitude that we are gonna be next legends n work amongst their age group try to work n build up their own legendry status. Anway, oh its gonna look extremely odd too cuz anushka is 5'9 n aamir is 5'6! lol

Anushka has officially joined the rank of actresses (Kareena, Asin, Sonakshi, Priyanka, Katrina,...many more) who will soon be sidelined by the actors in their respected movies!
Amir Khan is a good actor so is Anuska a good actor. Anuska is 23 and amir 47 , i mean he is in her fathers age? why cant she work with someone younger ? I just think its horrible .

YRF comes out with really good proteges. Aditya Chopra has a knack for spotting talent. Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, are all burning up the screens....not too sure about Shraddha Kapoor yet...
i actually dont think shes a good actress just better than the others and she is not stunning at all. shes not even pretty. average and plain imo

I'm sorry but your comment is rediculous! Acting is the only attribute required to become an actress! Take heed from hollywood and the quality that is produced as oppose to the trash in bollywood. We want good actors not models who want to be actors. There are actors who go to acting school and learn the craft and it is their passion and then we have models who just come along and get roles. This is not right. An industry that is as large as bollywood can't say credible though should not work like this!!
