Release Date of Barfi postponed to Aug 31st, might clash with Raaz 3 & Joker

Ranbir just informed ranbirkapoor.net that the release date of Barfi has been postponed to August 31st, 2012. Raaz 3 & Joker are already expected to hit theatres on Aug 31st & the sudden announcement of Barfi for August has caught many by surprise. If none of the three films refuse to budge, this August, we might experience a deadly clash at the BO.

This news is not OFFICIAL! So chill out you guys .. Barfi's most probably gonna be releasing on July 13th .. CAN'T WAIT! RK + PC + ANURAG BASU (Minus the whole KITES fiasco) = Terrific Threesome! A sure shot critical success and hopefully a major box office success as well.. Fingers crossed!

in burfee it does look like a differnt genre film to watch

Barfi will be critically appreciated no doubt...But the entire look of the film is unappealing.
A very pregnant Vidya looked very attractive in the Kahaani stills and caught everyone's' fancy !!..so much so that Parambrata's crush seemed so believable..and the film was declared a hit even before it released!
Both PC & Illeana look bland..Fans of RK want him to be larger than life..
The film will consolidate RK's position in the industry..but doesn't look like a hit..

I think Joker will suffer because People will watch raaz because alot like thrillers and they will also watch barfi because there is ranbir in it so yeah. My personal choice would be Barfi, Raaz 3 and then Joker !

tees maar khan may havent been the best movie on the planet but it did become a semi-hit at the box office...people always called it a flop but it was a semi-hit.

I am not sure how joker will be bec akshay and shirish combo hasnt worked so far.... n barfee looks interestin bt hopefully it doesnt dissapoint like rockstar did and as for raaz 3, I am guessin it could pull over some crowd as Emraan is getting bigger and better with each film!!!

mr. RIDDLER how dare u say that the movie is gonna flop. Barfi is definitely going to be a special movie & much more meaning too.

and still its too early to presume that it would be a 3way clash. none of the producers would let this happen. they'll definitely sort it out.
and the good thing is that Cocktail is having a solo release. saif-deepika after LAK are gonna rock again.

Ranbir used his Barfi look(as an old man)in one of his Ads..Anurag Basu says that he was shocked and upset when he saw the ad.
RK gives out the message that he is not too keen on the film..or he would not have done it without consulting his director(shockingingly unprofessional).
Better to risk a flop against bigger films than Cocktail?Is that the strategy?
