Salman, Farhan and Arshad talk about Shiney Ahuja
"Seven years? Seven years is a lot! I have been locked up myself, so I know what happens," said shocked Salman, who himself has had brief stints in jail. The 45-year-old was embroiled in a hit-and-run case as well as in a black buck shooting case A court here Wednesday sentenced Shiney after he was found guilty of raping his maid in 2009. The actor broke down when judge P.M. Chauhan of the Sewri fast track sessions court delivered the judgement. Arsahd Warsi feels the judiciary should not target actors "blatantly". Producer-director Farhan Akhtar wishes that Shiney has the strength to face the court verdict.

So may people have extra marital affairs, i do not agree with this but if that is what happenned between Shiney and the maid it truly a heavy price to pay.
omg in print salmans quote sounds bad as if hes feeling sorry for shiney but on the video u can see he feels uncomfortable and akward to comment and hes just making something up... he said so himself hes not following the case..but he hopes hes innocent.. that doest recessarily menas hes condoning what hes done...i'm sure sallu stands against rape very much like all normal people in the world.

Even if he is prove right ( no wonder in India) he is still not innocent and that is for sure. If you all remember he did not deny it first time he said it was done with mutual agreement. Medical Report found that it happened. now the maid is saying nothing happened and after sometime police and court will say the same too.
I am amazed the wife is still standing with him.

Arshad is actually right and makes a good point. And salman's ego is just too big, he thinks whatever he says must be the truth, he doesn't reason or uses logic. Only the dumbazz, uneducated and uncouth ppl who blindly follow Salman will belive him, because to them he's the next Messiah. hero worship is really dumb in India, that it's turning me off to bollywood more and more.
Why is everyone criticizing Salman Khan's comment: he suggested 7 yrs is too long "if someone lied about it" and his absolutely righty. Robbing one of liberty when they are innocent is a profound violation of a persons right to be free and enjoying the average, precious life of family and work.
He didnt suggest that Shiney was innocent and neither did Arshad or Farhan, seriously HATERS. You tunr around statements to mean abosultely something else to what they're really trying to say, its because of that slander that celebreties reputations grow to disporportionate levels !
The maid apparently retracted her statement, yet hes still gone to prison! How awful! Unfair Indian legal system.

i don't know what salman is talking about. he should have been locked up for a long time for KILLING a man, but yet he is walking around like it never happened. he was locked up for less than a week and he knows what happens? please. only in india do people not get a fair sentence. murderers and rapists only get a little while in jail if any.
