Salman's Conditions Before Appearing on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa
The episode with Salman and Katrina as guests was recently aired on TV. Audience is raving the episode calling it a very a entertaining one. However, Salman may not have appeared on the show if his conditions had not been met. Yes, you read it right. Salman lay down some conditions to be a guest at the show and any guesses what they were? First of all, he insisted that there would be no dances on his songs that were paired with Aishwarya Rai. That would grossly anger him as he didn't want any awkwardness (we all know about the camera shots at such instances). Secondly, he asked that no Shahrukh Khan songs be performed either. Contestants, Darsheel and Avneet performed to a song from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Salman only arrived at the show after that. It's also been buzzing that Salman who danced with Madhuri was not interested in dancing at all that night but he did it anyway on Katrina's insistence. However, apparently after the shoot was over, he was allegedly seen telling Katrina to not do that again.

So what !? He doesn't want relationship oriented publicity ! Thats a good thing ? If Aishwarya's or SRK's name came up then everyone would say it was cheap publicity ? If their names don't come up then he's a douche-bag ? And he's always been honest about not being fond of promotion ! If he was disinterested then so be it ! Many actors of his generation don't quite master promotion because it was never necessary earlier !

THEN THE BUZZ IS THAT IT GOT OUT OF CONTROL AND HE STARTED SHOVING AISH AROUND (SEEN BY THE ENTIRE CREW) AND THAT'S WHEN SRK INTERVENED. AT THAT POINT, SALMAN BEHAVED RUDELY (BEING EXTREMELY ANGRY) AND I'M SURE SRK SAID A FEW THINGS IN RETALIATION AS WELL. AFTER THAT, THINGS WEREN'T EXACTLY OKAY BUT IT WASN'T THIS BAD. THEN ONCE, SRK WAS WORKING ON A FILM AND ONE OF THE MAIN HEAD BEHIND-THE-CAMERA PERSON WAS A NON-INDIAN AND HIS WORK VISA FOR INDIA EXPIRED. OFFICIALS HAD ORDERED HIM TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY AND THAT'S WHEN SRK SPOKE UP SAYING THAT THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE IN BOLLYWOOD WHO ARE WORKING WITH EXPIRED VISAS. OFFICIAL SHOULD LOOK INTO THEM AS WELL INSTEAD OF JUST PICKING ON ONE PERSON. SALMAN TOOK IT OFFENSIVELY AND THOUGHT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT KATRINA KAIF. SINCE THEN, THEY'VE NEVER RESOLVED THEIR ISSUES.

SRK and Aish did Josh, Mohabbatein, and Devdas. They also had an item number, Ishq Kamina in Shakti plus a scene in Hum Tumhare Sanam where Aish did a cameo (upon asked by Salman)
The ruckus was not during Devdass but Chalte Chalte. Following the havoc, Aish was unceremoniously dropped from the movie.

good work by sallu. a lot of tv shows especially singing shows take advantage of this and make their singers sing hum dil de chuke sanam salman-ash songs. and they keep showing salman's face during the song. trying to make controversy out of nothing.
yes i agree ....iam not salman fan but i think Indian shows really cheap ...
guys do you remember how in zee a words they choose srk / pc to host the show and they keep showing gauri's face during they appear on stage . trying to make controversy out of nothing . i really felt sorry for gauri ....

although i understand hes a celeb and will always be a target..but yea since im an audience i have to say this...the praise he gets and the amount of fans he has ..he seriously does not deserve them coz hes soo moody all the time ...the interviews i see of him , he always seems to be sick of it and his attitude is always like "im the best, everyone is stupid"...and i dont even understand why people like him so much..he has killed people, and animals, drunk driving...hes just a criminal according to me.....just wearing being human tshirt all the time and start supporting the cause "suddently" does not make you a good human mr. salman khan.

Forget the rivalry....Salman should tell Kjo to call Srk and Sanjay Dutt out on bandstand somewhere between both their homes....Dutt will be bodyguard in the situation as Kjo wont be able to handle it if fight breaks...They should patch up and then the dynamics of the industry shall shift on its head. The 2 biggest and most powerful stars of the Hindi film industry should be together as friends. We all want that.

Rubbish. Isha and Salman danced to Lolo-Chi Chi songs too before Salman and Katrina arrived and they both left before the finale which is a mash-up of Wanted's song.
And I watched the show, both days, and he was warm towards the contestants and was having a blast.
i liked this episode.

I can understand the wish awkwardness, but no performances on shahrukh khan songs? WTF ARE YOU SERIOUS SALMAN? he claims to be such a great human being, but then he can't be down to earth about a simple matter like this? seriously, sometimes I feel like all his donations, and being kind to people is a show, a mask to hide his face. otherwise no PROFESSIONAL person would do that. shah rukh was down to earth, and humble enough to dance to salmon's dabbang songs...this is the difference. salman tries to show how amazing he is, but truly...I don't feel it. I still like him as an entertainer, but this really is not a nice personality...laying conditions. he knows that these shows are desperate for gaining TRPS and on...as I was watching the episode, I totally got that. I immediately understood that salman was avoiding the SRK performance done by darsheel and avneet. gosh GROW UP SALMAN.

theres no way this is true, this is just a way to defame him. Salman has been saying Aish's name for the past five years without making any faces or getting annoyed. He even mentioned aish's name on DID and on one of the interviews that were shown on Pinkvilla with Rajeev Masand, when Katrina said Salman is the most spontaneous, Salman added to the statement by saying Shahrukh is also spontaneous. So I doubt he would care if any of the aish or srk songs were presented, although i dont blame him if he would say no to his and aish's movies songs performance. Oh and the entire industry loves madhuri, so i doubt thats true too.

actually all those demands make sense.
If he dances to SRK songs, you know the indian media would be asking both him and SRK about it all the time hereonin. He didn't want to answer the qs, it makes sense for him to request that rather than make a fuss during the show.
Same goes with Aish-Salman songs. She's a married woman now, its actually quite respectful of him to ask they not do those songs. (Also, there was the time he started weeping on one of the song shows when someone sang Tadap Tadap)

most of the songs were from his recent bout of movies (ready, partner etc, not his classics. maybe he didn't want ppl remembering his age...coz he also seem to want to touch madhuri's feet a couple of times...)
he was def not comfortable. but he hasn't been this entire round of publicity for Ek Tha Tiger. he seemed v uncomfortable with the dance of MashAllah (which was very...descriptive) but the judges seemed to like it so he nodded along..he couldn't even say the word 'sexy' with Kjo. Perhaps as he gets older he is getting more conservative and doesnt like to see women portrayed a certain way. You'll notice the actual Khan sisters (specially Alvira) is always covered up. but then what of his bhabhi???
No one knows the complete truth, these media ppl are too much. They just make long story articles taking some assumptions. Before jhalak he went to DID and INDIAN IDOL. Contestants performed on Aish-Srk songs, salman was normal during that.
He is Dabangg star....So many contestant's have performed on Aish's and Sharukh's song...he didn't object then...why will he do it now? Stop posting and spreading rumors....Let him be...
IF this story is true, then let me say that though when you first hear about the no SRK songs part, the immediate thought is how immature of Salman...but IF the other stories of SRK's treatment of Salman are true - that Salman and his family helped SRK a lot when SRK was struggling in B'wood and then when fame came SRK became arrogant and disrespectful towards Salman and his family, then definitely I understand Salman's reluctance to associate with SRK.

If this story is true (always questionable with tabloids), is it possible that these were Katrina's demands relayed by Salman? After all, he has been on plenty of these kinds of reality shows in the past, to promote his previous films, and there were never any reports of any demands from him, about Aishwarya or SRK. He's never had any problems with songs from HDDCS -- in fact he always mentions it as one of his favorite films, along with others like Love -- or even with talking about Aishwarya.
All other demands were understandable but, if he was at all reluctant about dancing with Madhuri Dixit - that, my friend, is rude. She is in a different league altogether and they have given some of the greatest Bollywood hits of all time. I saw the dance video on youtube and he did seem a little reluctant to participate at first when Madhuri was dancing to one of their song. It was quite evident from his facial expressions and body language.
