He won our hearts with his character as MC Sher in Gully Boy, but actor Siddhant Chaturvedi recently revealed that he dabbled in Hollywood and gave auditions before he landed his role in Gully Boy. In an interaction with PTI, Siddhant revealed that he had auditioned for Disney's latest release Aladdin and the 2014 movie Million Dollar Arm. Just like Tara Sutaria, who had auditioned for the role of Jasmine, Siddhant auditioned for the lead role of Aladdin.

Siddhant said, "I had auditioned for the lead role in Aladdin. I was there in at least top 20 from India. This is for the role of Aladdin, they were looking for an Indian boy back then but then they decided the accent needs to be international. It was their call," he told PTI.

Speaking about his other Hollywood audition, Siddhant said, "Then there was another film called Million Dollar Arm. I did audition for it as well, it was not for dubbing. They had two Indian guys who play baseball, I did the audition for that. They felt I was too upmarket and fair for it."

Hope disney has indian princess movies

Sid ka time aayega !! Bohot hi jald !!

He didn’t brag about it, he openly also admitted that HW went for someone else for the roles he auditioned for. Better than lying Tara, she prob didn’t even make it to top 20 picks. Hope he continues to work hard and improve his craft, it will be soon that his dream of working in HW will come true.

All the best Sid !!
