Bollywood’s #MeToo wave is far from over and it all started with Tanushree Dutta opening up on her ordeal in front of the world, and without any hesitation, she said it was Nana Patekar who harassed her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss. Tanushree has become the torchbearer of the movement. Many women shared their horrifying stories on social media. Names like Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl came into limelight. Back in August, rumours were doing the rounds that Sushant Singh Rajput had gotten a little too friendly with his Kizie And Manny co-star Sanjana Sanghi. The newcomer was said to be very uncomfortable with his behaviour. This whole thing came up when Me Too was highlighted.

Sushant Singh Rajput, however, denied the allegations and shared on Twitter screenshots of his chats with Sanjana Sanghi as proof that no such harassment happened. In a conversation with Mid-Day, Sushant told that they will start shooting for the last schedule of Kizie And Manny in Paris tomorrow. Taking about the Me Too episode, he said, “It was paradoxical because it [the #MeToo movement] was something that I stand for.”

He added, “I happened to be one of the intentional and strategic casualties. Many paid campaigners were used to give it a burst. I felt bad and misunderstood. The more it gets written about, the more it damages my reputation, which I have worked hard to build. The movement is a good thing. It is all about changing mindsets.”

The director of the film, Mukesh Chhabra, had previously also denied the rumours of any such incident happening between his lead actors.
