At some level, I do feel sadness for them, because over a period of time their own identity diminishes and no amount of shopping in the world can fulfill inner doldrums . I wish for they own sanity, they would do something more socially strung and affecting, not just social work for the sake of media glare but take all your creativity and go fix some slums, or do up houses of people with a very small budget, teach them that art and aesthetics is a matter of taste. Somewhere a more rooted approach is needed if they want to save themselves. Or maybe they don't want to be saved, want to be swallowed by the stardom and its negatives of their husbands.
