Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam's Uri: The Surgical Strike has sure been going places and while everyone continues to popularise one of Vicky's dialogue from the film, 'How's the Josh?' there's still a lot of popularity and praise that both, the film as well as the actors have received. The film has done extremely well as the box office and not only has it crossed the 100 crore benchmark but has, in fact, went on to earn over Rs. 160.7croresre within just three weeks.

And now, as the film had a special screening for Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu who watched the film along with Indo-Tibetan Border Police Personnel, he seems to be moved by the film and inspired too. Sharing pictures on Vice President's official Twitter account, he wrote, "Happy to have watched the movie Uri: The Surgical Striketoday along with Indo-Tibetan Border Police Personnel who guard the Vice President's Residence in New Delhi. It was an inspiring movie. I congratulate the cast & crew of #Urimovie for showcasing the valour of #IndianArmy."

The film is based on the surgical strikes back in 2016. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and also stars Mohit Raina, Paresh Rawal and Kirti Kulhari in pivotal roles. The film that released on January 11, 2019, continues to stay strong and is receiving loads of love and appreciation from actors and the audiences alike.
