The year 2018 proved to be a blockbuster for actor Vicky Kaushal and the year 2019 has already begun on a spectacular note for the 'Manmarziyaan' actor as his film Uri: The Surgical Strike has stormed the box office collections in India. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark and has also earned higher in its second weekend. An obviously elated Vicky Kaushal revealed to Mid-Day that he is hardly able to contain his joy.

"Uri crossed the benchmark that every film is vying for. Fans have been sending us videos of people reacting to different scenes - it is overwhelming to see them clapping and hooting," revealed Vicky. A large number of these videos are fans in groups screaming excitedly 'How's the josh?" While everyone says, "High Sir!" The actor has been sharing these videos on his social media pages. The popularity of this dialogue peaked when Prime Minister Narendra Modi could not hold himself back from saying it as he addressed film personalities in Mumbai a few days ago.

Earlier, Vicky has often spoken about how he had not achieved a certain level of stardom wherein he wasn't mobbed by fans. However, the tables have now turned. The number of Vicky's female fans have not only grown but also go weak in their knees. "Now, it [female adulation] has started. When people spot me walking or driving down the road, they exclaim, 'How's the josh?' It feels good that I have been able to reach out to the audience," Vicky told Mid-Day.
