Yatra movie review: Mammootty starrer leaves moviegoers spellbound, call it a 'great tribute' to YSR

The much-loved and legendary Mammootty is beyond any doubt one of the most decorated names in the history of Malayalam cinema. Now, with his new film's release today, the actor has again left the audiences enthralled and is all set to rule the box office again with Yatra. The film, which is a Telugu movie, was also released in Tamil and Malyalam across India and overseas. Yatra is a biopic based on the life of YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2004 to June 2009, representing the Indian National Congress. 

Looks like the film has already impressed audiences in India as well as overseas. Twitter was flooded with praise for Mammootty's Yatra and netizens did not hold back in praising the film. Another recently released film NTR. Kathanayakudu starring Vidya Balan had high expectations but did not do well at the box office.

The film opened to packed theatres today and is expected to pick up pace at the box office over the weekend. Well, we won't be surprised if the film enters the 100 crore club.

Moreover, over the years, he has been a part of several popular films and proved that he is a crucial part of the South film industry.
