I didn't find Mehr attractive ever but she comes off looking like a very strong woman and sometimes, a bit intimidating and I think that's what works for her. As for Arjun, he's got this je nai sais quos hotness and I was a bit skeptical of him sporting the tache at Cannes but it is aptly shown with the outfit he's wearing!

Men age better than women.Mehr was a supermodel while Arjun was still struggling when they married each other. Mehr was the one who gave birth to two children.As a result she matured quickly,it happens.She's still better than a lot of twenty somethings,methinks.
