only thing I see in this pic is pr spin, damage control, photoshop, insecure woman. She should own the fact that she is fat. Many women gain weight post delivery but few gain THIS much.
This is a common angle to make faces look slimmer.. Looks like she's taken it herself.
I think Ash took the pic herself. I can tell by the angle, because a lot of people have similar pics.
Not a fan of hers, but I really admire the way she's handling this situation. She's used to getting praised for her appearance, and now the cruel backlash must be tough. But she's survived all kinds of criticism from the past, so I think she can live through this.

the pic aint gonna backfire coz it is hardly altered.. you can clearly see all the fat beneath her chin.. it is just the top angle that seems to hides all the that.. plus ash isnt making any faces here, so it further helps her look decent..

I am not at all a Ms. Rai fan, however all of you haters and non-haters wait for the big reveal. Ms. Rai will come looking skinny for the Canne festival. I had the opportunity to see her live. She doesn't look one bit like the pictures posted here. She is very skinny and although I dislike admitting this looks extermely gorgeous. I guess she is jsut not photogenic!!

I am a mother of 3 kids all under the age of 4 and i never gained this much weight. You dont gain this much weight unless you are busy eating ladoos and parathas for lunch and dinner. And 5 months is a very long time to keep all that weight on your face. It will never go back to the same tight skin cause she is 40 yrs old and not a 20 something. I am not against mothers breast feeding babies cause i and my friends all have done that and you loose weight with that unless your eating habits are bad. And she is a star not some house wife from some small town.

Rohang, I don't doubt your friend took this pic of Aishwarya, but I think it is slightly photoshopped. She still has a tad puffy cheeks like in the pictures with her and Abhi at Kunal Kapoor's mom funeral a few days ago.
I don't doubt your good intentions, but posting a picture like that can backfire and harm Aishwarya's credibility and her fandom's.
In your defense, it could be only the angle the picture was taken, though, that makes her face look slimmer, and also the fact that she's caught pre-party, and her hair and make-up were still fresh.
The unflattering pics taken a few days ago by the media were when she was leaving the bash, and from a low angle which accentuated her slight double chin. Also her hair looked disheveled from some reason.
I think only on Cannes's red carpet we'll finally get to see how much (or not) Aishwarya got into shape or any real improvements on her outer looks, for that matter. Fingers crossed that she'll look good!

Actually this picture is worse than the previous one. This picture sheds the light on her inner beauty.
She looks extremely sad and depressed, I think that explains why she looks and heavy weight , the way she looks.
Most people when depressed, go on eating binge.
