I have seen pics of this girl before and she doesn't really look like this! If she's going to play a high school student that's fine, but why try to make her look older for the poster?

People saying "star kids" "star kids." Not all the star kids are famous, please try to remember Tanushree Mukherjee, Uday Chopra, Soha Ali Khan, etc. Only the "talented" ones are the "star kids" who survived in the Bollywood Industry and perhaps also gave us the biggest hits we have ever seen with their beautiful acting. Kajol & Aamir Khan for example. Not all star kids survive! Only the talented ones do. Infact, we have Katrina Kaif, Sunny Leone, Diana Penty, etc - who are NOT EVEN star kids - AND THEN we have Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan, Abhay Deol!!!
So please dnt keep saying about the "star Kidddyy thingy"
if directors like karan johar needs a star kid to hype his movie than what can we expect from others.
i think his name is big enough for a movie to get good opening so why not hunt for some real talent outside industry?

Another star daughter, my God what is going on in Bollywood, the only star children who I will consider to be really talented are Kajol, Hrithik, Rani and Viviek Oberoi who I believe his association with Aish nearly ruined his career,the rest are just tagging around, Abhishek is not a natural talent he had to grow into becoming an actor but I still don't consider him a talent in the real sense. Enough said, she will go the way of Esha Deol, bet me.
Heavily photoshopped! What's up with the pose? LOL. I'm not jumping on the "nepotism at its best" train,because well love it or hate it it is what it is! If your father is an industrialist,you would obviously be one too because it is easier for you..same is the case here. We can not hate on her,or Sonakshi or Sonam,it's not their fault! They just got lucky,and so it was easier for them to have a debut but whether your films do well or not does not depend on who's daughter you are. Sonam's movies mostly flopped and nobody cares who her dad is now,Uday Chopra comes from the Chopra dynasty yet he has never had a successful career,same is the case with Tushar Kapoor.. so at the end of the day,it only depends on you. Yes,their debut becomes easier but they're on their own after that..so don't hate on them we don't chose which family we're born in to :).

Nepotism in Bollywood now seems a topic everyone's well aware of but is best not to discuss. On a second note, Alia Bhatt is gorgeous.

u must be new to bollywood. Nepotism is an accepted norm in this industry, so common it hardly needs to be adressed, like casting couches or how bribery has corrupted the indian gov't. u may whine and be pissed off about it, at the end of the day it still won't change and nobody feels ashamed about it.
